Great Product!

Amazingly engineered. Loving the dual access and how aerodynamic it is. Went on a long a road trip and could barely hear the box up top. The pre torque quick clamps were awesome too. Wasnt torqued too tight or too loose. Very convenient and easy to use and gives me peace of mind.

Life Changing Travel Options!

I thought I had a big enough vehicle (Toyota Highlander) for my 3 person family but we've all taken up the sport of rowing so now our gear, cooler, extra clothes etc. have really filled up all of the open space. We used our Thule for the first time this past weekend to go out of town for a rowing regatta. Most of our gear fit in the car but it allowed us to bring 2 inflatable kayaks and an inflatable paddleboard so we could have even more time on the water! So awesome! Rowed on Saturday, paddled Lake Superior on Sunday - loving our options with our new Thule! Even put our first sticker on it and can't wait to cover it with stickers from all of our travels! I was nervous we would hear a lot of wind noise but didn't hear it at all.

I’ve been extremely impressed with the Thule Motion 3 XL. The build quality is outstanding, and it feels incredibly solid and well-made. It looks great on the vehicle with its sleek, aerodynamic design, and it has plenty of room for luggage, strollers, and other gear without sacrificing style. Installation was straightforward, and the PowerClick mounting system made it easy to secure. I also appreciate that it opens from both sides, which makes loading and unloading much more convenient. Even at highway speeds, it’s quiet with very little additional wind noise. Overall, the Motion 3 XL is a premium cargo box that’s worth the investment. If you’re looking for a spacious, durable, and easy-to-use roof box for road trips or family travel, I highly recommend it.

Great Storage Solution

Really excited to keep using our new Thule street giving it a test run on a shorter trip and it worked really well for the needs and cleared up just shut all of the trunk space we would have used instead. Was pretty easy to install once you got the hang of it but the directions aren't the clearest but overall it's a very simple process and I once you get one step done the rest will seem super easy. Doesn't really create much noise until you get up over 60+ mph but overall don't really notice it on the car. Easy to open and pack and lightweight enough to get up and down off the car without much hassle.

Lot Of Rust. No Warranty.

Got a first generation Motion XT box. A lot of rust developed on metal parts under the box. Thule denied all warranty claiming I should not use the box everyday, and should be stored in a garage most of the time. So have in mind this product is intended for light use, and no warranty is really applicable.

Perfect Fit For A Mazda Cx-90

It fit everything I needed and still within the weight limit. I also drove confidently, it is sturdy. XL size perfect fit for a Mazda CX-90. You can't mount it alone though. It is too big to be carried by 1 person.

Great Roof Box

After researching and looking into several different roof boxes, this one was the most recommended. It's exactly what I was looking for; secure, quiet, durable, and looks nice. We also purchased the Thule telescoping ladder which has made accessing the box super convenient and easy.

Great Box, Be Careful Of Freezing Locks

Box itself is great, holds plenty of gear and is completely silent on top of my Q3 on the highway. Took it out on a road trip on a very windy weekend and didn't feel or hear it at all. It ate up all my wet gear and was great to have it outside the car The lock situation has to knock off a star though. My first use was to take it skiing and the locks on both sides froze shut. There was some moisture in the air and it was 17 degrees out but having to spend 10 minutes thawing the locks so I could get into the box was not particularly fun and makes me nervous for using it for skis when it's really cold

Great Box

Bought this to expand capacity on my SQ8 for holiday trips to family and the airport. It swallows gear and a double stroller like a champ. Relatively low wind noise and drag, even at 80mph cruise (we live out west). Very pleased after 2 years of use.

Great Cartoon Carrier

The Thule cartop carrier is very well designed and easily installed on the Thule Edge rack. It holds a lot of items and relieves the load in the car trunk!

Excellent Roof Top Box!!

This box can hold a great deal of gear and extras. Quality is good and closes smoothly. We love this box!
