Fits all my stuff! Pretty water proof. I use it as a chair sometimes when traveling and love the backpack straps. If you have see someone traveling, they usually have the medium. That's the best size for carryons, but this is good for long trips and you can squish it down/tighten the straps and it fits as a carryon too.

I have several base camp duffels and they have been indestructible. Zippers are stout and straps on the big bags are easy to use and come off for air travel. Travelled around the world and they have survived every airport and bus luggage handler. They don't claim to be water proof but it takes a lot for water to enter the bag.

This bag is great! I received the medium size one as a gift and carry it on my back like a backpack through the airport. No checked luggage (caution if back or carry large weight is an issue for you). I got my second bag (large) and use it for my inflatable raft(130"L x 35"W x 18"H) which includes: paddles, life vest + raft itself and I STILL have room for extra clothes or another. Great bag!
