Great Line With A Twist
I bought this line about a month ago and was surprised by the strength and durability. The twist is that the spool has a suction cup that makes spooling a reel super easy!

Bring Back The Tour Grade Line.
Typically I buy the Strike King Tour Grade fluoro. Public Lands clearance all of the tour grade so I had to settle on contra. It’s alright

Strike King Contra Winner
This fluorocarbon line is definitely a great line for anyone. I have it set up on all my rod and reel set ups.

A Decent Line At A Good Price.
This line is better on bait casting reels. A little bit stiff for spinning reels.

Incredibly Strong And A Great Price Point! I’ve Tried The 8lb (Landed Multiple Fish Over 4lbs Without Retying), 10(great For Cranking) And 12-20 Mostly For Moving Baits Or Flipping.
Incredibly strong and a great price point! I’ve tried the 8lb (landed multiple fish over 4lbs without retying), 10(great for cranking) and 12-20 mostly for moving baits or flipping. I also know pro angler Andy Montgomery loves this stuff. He was telling me all about it and showing me which setups he had the line on at a BPT event. So you know the pros actually use it! Great stuff!

Strongly Over Rated
Purchased 12# Contra Fluorocarbon. I was fishing small marsh bass in south Louisiana. I used double Uni knott to tie a 2/0 finesse circle hook to fish wacky worm. One my first bite the line broke on a sweeping hook set. I was shocked and question what happened. This fish may have been 1-2#er. I stripped a couple of feet off and retied with a double Uni knot. Second bite same thing happened line broke. Put that rod down. Total line failure. This was brand new purchased a Dick’s. Very disappointed. Don’t waste your money on Strike King Contra Fluorocarbon. Can’t believe TV shows Pro using this same line weight and supposed the same line? Makes me wonder if the are getting the same line being market to the public?
