Easy To Use, Easy To Clean

I’m quite fond of this compact pour-over setup. It’s user-friendly without a filter, but it can drain relatively quickly. Therefore, it takes a few attempts to achieve the optimal water amount and prevent overflowing the mug. The mug itself is undoubtedly my favorite camping mug. Its cover remains securely in place and doesn’t obstruct anything during use.

Worked Great

Used it for the first time this morning and it worked as intended. Much better coffee than what I usually end up with when traveling. Very grateful to have.

Great Mug, Awful Coffee Maker

Received this as a gift and it's great in theory: indestructible, reasonably lightweight, no paper filters. In practice, the central metal filter binds up quickly on even coarsely-ground coffee, it's so much bulkier than it needs to be, and while it's easy to take apart and clean in a dishwasher if you're outdoors without access to limitless clean water it is much harder to clean than necessary. Get the mug from Stanley but get your coffee maker from an actual coffee company.

Great Idea, Very Poor Execution.

Very possibly one of the worst designs I have ever seen. The filtration point for the coffee is higher that where the coffee flows into the mug. You continuously get weak coffee until you get overly strong coffee when you put enough coffee that allows coffee filtration through the full French brew process. Secondly the porting in the filter is very large so again, it is very inconsistent. I would highly not recommend.

Compost

By the way: used coffee grounds make valuable compost material. Plants love the stuff, especially most acid-loving plants--the grounds are valuable recycling stuff. We prefer pour over as it prevents those tiny capsules polluting land fills.

Yes

3/18/25 Obtained this product. Have a store for special coffee bean grinders (M). It does take time to do it correctly; however, this product worth time. Nice product. Need really fresh coffee. Use 1/2 creamer. Really like cup lid. Recommend. Makes great gift too

Not Impressed.

Just received my set and I have to say that it's a dumb design that could easily be improved. Why not make the handle on the mug collapsible so the mug can fit it the massive pourover cone. This design takes an awful amount of space. Would not recommend it for camping unless you can keep it in your cabin cupboard and not have to travel with it. Makes 6 cups per packagaing, yeah it makes 300 if you replace the grinds...

Pour Over

It is very easy to clean and the taste is a lot better than drip coffee maker- why ? I don't know. And can use automatic tea kettle for hot water if being lazy scares you away

Wow Great Addition Camping Picnic Or Side Of

Birthday Present. Yeah ok... is what I thought ... well that is until I tried it solo camping. WOW ... well ended up purchasing a rose Mug for my dearest... as i always have a "go bag" in the truck ... which has a stove ... we always use it for picnics or fire pits... we use filters vs the Strainer option ... OK wasteful... but considering how to clean it in the field time an effort... car camping use both... at home use Strainer... we love it easier vs waiting for the percolator... we use a stanley nested cooking Mug...

The Best!

Amazing pour over set! Makes unbelievable coffee, and paired with an electric tea kettle, you can make coffee and clean up faster than a French press and almost the same as most Keurig style makers. Don't pigeon hole this unit to only camping. It's become my daily drip. It's impossible to overstate just how easily it rinses off. Yes, you'll have some fines in the bottom of your cup, that leave you alone if you leave them alone. Don't shake it like a mad man, and you'll only taste them on your last sip. Otherwise, they add a welcome flavor boost! Unless you're an ultra sensitive squish, this pour over makes excellent coffee that all coffee lovers and manly men will love! Stay away from micro plastic and fake chemically laden filters. Use this bad boy and never look back. Sip on...

Got 4 of these for christmas gift, everyone loved it!

Get Rid Of The Plastic Base!

I was so excited to get this for Christmas as my new camp and travel set; it’s all good except that there is plastic on the removable filter that is exposed during the pour over process. Would be nice for Stanley to give an all metal option. Otherwise, easy to use, easy to clean.
