Great Knife,horrid Sheath

Bought one awhile back and its fast become not only my fav hunting and camp knife,but one of my fav every day carry. Lightweight,built like a tank and holds an edge. EZ to sharpen. Cant say anything bad about the knife,and would've gave 5 stars but the sheath is hit garbage. Dont think they couldve made a worse one if they tried

Found this fixed blade at a really good discount, so I bought it for myself. Great sturdy knife very sharp blade steel. It's a bit larger and thicker than the Ether FX which I also have. I haven't decided which paracord wrap I'm going to go with that's the next step.This will be a very functional knife in my collection and I will find many opportunities to use it.

Worth The Buy

Had the knife about a month now. Amazing so far all around with durability and blade retention. I'll be buying friends some soon. Only "fault" would be the hook up point for the sheath. Not a fan of that one. Had to lock tite it 2 weeks after the wife came in. Decided to unscrew its self.

Great EDC. Using the knife is out of this world. Light weight and easy to conceal. So only you know you are using it. At work or play. Great knife!!

Great Knife

Great everyday knife. Took it camping and I use it around the house. Holds its edge well.

Surprisingly Awesome!!

I’ll be honest, I first bought this knife because it looked cool and was on sale at a crazy price. I have to say it blew away my expectations. It’s light, handy, and the grip of the knife is very comfortable, even with the slim minimalist scales. I love the blade profile, and the knife is the perfect length as something between a pocket folder and a full-blown hunting/survival knife. I like the sheath, but I think the universal clip is a bit finicky, and doesn’t grip the belt well. I think a utiliclip might have been a better choice. But overall, love it, and if they make it in a different color (orange, perhaps?) I might even buy a second one!

Love The Knife, But

Absolutely love the knife shape, thickness, weight and handles. Very secure in the hand. Blade shape makes this. great working blade and the jimping is a real plus. Now for the bad. The sheath and belt clip are not good. Belt clip is overly complicated and only works with 2” belt. Sheath is nice and slim but has almost zero retention. When bumped the knife comes loose. To be honest the sheath and belt clip nearly make the whole package unusable for anything other than a spare knife in the garage. Would never carry this. Ever. This needs a basic slim kydex sheath, with positive retention, and hole spacing for any of the commercially available belt mounts. Please make a good sheath!

Quality Stainless Steel Knife

Overall a nice knife. A relatively new model. Quality stainless steel, can withstand some hitting load. Blade to handle proportion ratio is towards the handle and knife feels unbalanced in hand. Blade could be an inch longer to compensate heavy handle or handle could be a tiny bit lighter. Handle feels skinny and flat in your hand, probably one can add some wrapping or paracord to the handle to make it roundish and for better grip. What is the point of having a slot in the tang if the handle is still heavier than the blade. It will be nice if SOG will add accessory like spare beefier handle grips as without a proper handle the knife feels unfinished.
