Well constructed, great look, comfortable, easy to adjust

I crashed really hard today. Lost it on a large jump, hit the ground and my head. Broke my glasses and cracked my helmet. I feel like I’ve been hit by a car but thankfully, my head feels great. I’m grateful for MIPS today and I have ordered another Session helmet.

Let me begin by saying that I have worn Smith sunglasses for several decades and love them. Due to this I decided to try a Smith Helmet. Still working on the fit. Helmet drops down and obscures my field of vision, I've tried every adjustment I can. Also, the sunglasses retainer doesn't work without destroying the ear pads on your glasses due to the honeycomb liner.

I've had this helmet for about a year and I do like everything about it, except that everytime I take it off it pulls out my hair. Hair gets stuck in the yellow circles. For the price I would've hoped they atleast had some covers to keep hair from being stuck.

My wife had a helmet that she would Periodically wear mostly when biking with her parents. I am pretty sure it is the first helmet ever made. I actually think it is older than she is possibly a hand me down from a much older sibling who likely never wore it. Not only is it heavy it is a white hard shell with white foam interior and looks pretty dated and worn. When she would wear it she did not have much to say good or bad. This past fall i think her mom convinced her it was time to buy a new helmet. She got a smith session in maroon and green and really liked wearing it. I thought it it was a great looking helmet. Previously.it was rare she would wear the helmet if it was just the two of us. however since she started wearing her new one on every ride i had stared wearing her old one. Yesterday week we decided on an all day ride. On several occasions she mentioned how nice it was compared to the old one. Halfway through she asked …no begged me to try it. Finally i did, It had an awesome fit and i was happy with the number of vents and how light it was. Darn it is so well vented light and comfortable you dont even know you have it on. I only remembered i had it one when i saw the old one dangling from her handlebars and switched back. I decided then i wanted the white and gray one i just wish it was stocked in the store.

Fits really well, easily adjustable, comfortable. Love it for mountain biking! I was on the high end of sizing for a medium but glad I got that size.

I've had this helmet for a few months now. I was initially worried about the fit since it felt different than my past helmets. After a few rides, I was convinced. It fits well with minimal pressure points while still sitting securely on my head. It is well vented and it's barely noticeable once on.

I started using this helmet the day it arrived, as mice had chewed the straps off of my old helmet. Great fit, comfortable, and sharp looking!

On my first venture out with this helmet, I endo'ed and landed square on my noggin! This helmet very likely protected me from a concussion or much worse. Maybe this is not a surprise since this is exactly what a helmet is designed to do, sure, but it works, field tested! It sustained some added "character" in the form of some scrapes and a dent and is great shape otherwise. I will be keeping it even. In other news, this helmet is ridiculously comfy and stylish. This is the benchmark mtb in my opinion. Protect your noggin with this!

Love the matte vapor/klein aesthetic. Comfortably fitting despite my head shape. MIPS + the Koyrod honeycomb for extra impact protection/crumple zones. Lightweight and easy to adjust.

I really like the style of this helmet, the fact that there are so many color options available is so nice and that it has MIPS is great. Its your standard helmet, not much to praise or complain about, but a couple of things to mention: the sinching band has ribbed parts which get stuck on my hair when I am trying to put my helmet on or off, probably fine for a guy, but if you have braids or something you might have to loosen the strap to put the helmet on and then tighten it again (not a big deal). Also, just personal preference, I wish the visor went down lower. It lifts up almost to the top of the helmet but doesn't drop down low enough to block the sun when riding close to sunset. Those are just nitpicks though. O really like the helmet overall.

I bought this helmet to replace a years-old helmet that had recently taken a hit after a big fall. This helmet is incredibly comfortable and lightweight; feels like you're wearing nothing, yet offers top of the line protection. The adjustable features to include that of the visor make it customizable to the wearer. I simply love this helmet. It is functional, protective, comfortable, customizable and looks great!

Christmas gift for my girlfriend but it’s too big. She tried multiple other brand helmets on and fit perfectly in a medium, but the Smith medium was too big. Beautiful helmet love the MIPS protection, my only complaint is the adjustable visor doesn’t come down low enough for those bright rides into the sunset.

I’ve only had a chance to wear the helmet on four rides so far but it’s been very comfortable and good ventilation. The pads are thin but it fits my head so well that it isn’t an issue at all. I’m very happy I decided on this one!
