I use it for my down sleeping bag because of compression ability and protection from wet elements. The bag is easy to compress and seems sturdy. Very lightweight.

Purchased Sea to Summit compression bags for a 3-week motorcycle tour and the bags made the adventure much more enjoyable as all my gear could easily fit in the two (2) panniers!

I have been using Granite Gear cordura compression sacks for many years but took a chance on the Sea To Summit compression sacks. To my surprise, they were not only equally rugged enough to meet the rigor of my motorcycle travel, they were also lighter and more water resistant. Quality product for sure!

When I first bought it, I thought there was no way my massive sleeping bag could fit inside. I was wrong. Stuffs perfectly in and fast, too. Feels durable and I’ve had no complaints so far. It also compresses down smaller than other similar sacks I’ve tried. 10/10!

I have several sizes of these and use them all. Highly recommend.

I use it for a 10 deg hammock under quilt as mine only came with a stuff sack. Works well and is lightweight making it easier to keep things in my bag organized and where I want them in my bag. I've only used it 3 times so far but i don't see any issues of wear and tear for many years as i don't usually beat up a compression sack. I don't store my quilt in it when it's not being used, I just hang it on the hanger with the quilt.

This isn't my first Sea to Summit compression sack. They are durable and well-made and just don't seem to tear or fail. You can really pack a sleeping bag into it. And even though it's not water proof, it does seem to repel water.

This compression bag was going to be for my hammock down under quilt but I was hoping this bag was going to be a little stronger but I'm very weary of the compression straps, it's going to fail me at the wrong time and at that time it's going to be called a fancy trash bag. I would do a return on it but a week out on that is not worth it.

When I travel space is important. Not like the whole seeings “billions and billions of stars” at night thing. But more of making big bulky things fit into a smaller space. Kinda like a Tardis in reverse! It’s smaller inside my pack than outside. This works for squishy things only! It will not work for your trail bike…. Don’t ask how I know. Really! I had to sign a non disclosure agreement…

Worked wonders for compressing my clothes in my “personal item” carry on. Fit everything I really needed for a 6 day lake stay (granted it’s summer clothes and bathing suits which take up less space). Looking forward to using it this winter when doing some hut trips, too. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect! It was exactly what I was looking for to get my 0* down quilt down to a packable size! Get's the job done and keeps the water out when inside my pack!
