Purchased to replace one that broke on my daughters softball bag and it was good quality and easy to put on.

Should be cheaper and come in more sizes but it is hard to find thing when you needed. As another reviewer mentioned you have to be carefull with the screw post especially when strap is thicker kind. Used to repair broken kayak seat strap buckle.

Great repair parts and I would say the best I could find to repair my back pack. The advantage to this piece is you can remove the pins to put through a loop. This makes some repairs easier so you don’t have to sew the loops back together. Do your self a favor and measure what size you need I didn’t and had to order both sizes.

I was trying to repair my gators for some mountaineering, and this buckle was the best way to do it.

I used the field repair buckle to replace the one on my everything backpack. It was much cheaper than replacing a backpack I’ve had since middle school. It’s the perfect substitution for a broken buckle.

Incredible product! Well made and durable, I am confident this buckle will last a long time. Very easy to install, truly a genius product - I wish all buckles were built this way! In a world where things are tossed when they break, it is so powerful to be able to fix your belongings. Thank you for extending the life of my backpack.

Absolutely phenomenal buckle. I had a buckle break on a baby carrier and couldn't use it anymore, but with this I was able to replace it and wear my baby safely and securely again! It was so easy to do. 10 out of 10.

Excellent solution to a broken piece that used to require an industrial sewing machine.

When the buckle broke on my favorite pack I groaned about how what a pain it was going to be to get it fixed. Then I ran across this clever repair buckle at REI. It made it so easy. A great fix!! Then I got another one from Sea to Summit for the other side. Makes me happy!

Perfect replacements for my backpack straps. Install took about 5 minutes.

Although this product worked well, my idea in using made this purchase unacceptable. The company offered me a refund in a prompt, pleasant manner.

I’ve got one of those tool backpacks - it’s loaded, laptop, battery drill, tools for an IT guy… people can’t believe I run around factories doing IT work with it, but I do. Recently I learned I tend to drop it to my elbow on the way to setting it down - learned this because the strap buckle broke… luckily because of backpacking gear I’ve bought, I found this replacement buckle - let me say all bags should be made with these - the metal pin in the most critical position of the buckle, solid! I’m carrying spares of these so I can replace them on other bags as they go. I backpack camp off a motorcycle to give some insight on my experience.

I needed some small buckles and found them here. Couple days later they arrived and were just what I needed.

I bought a Patagonia Descensionist pack and the main strap to secure the lid isn't movable for overstuffing the bag like on the my Ascensionist, but there is an extra webbing loop near the top so I popped on of these on there and now it's gucci.
Worked perfectly, even better than the original. The buckle was fixed in minutes.
