Very Good Purchase

Really pleased with these! High quality, have done a couple of runs in heavy rain and still got dry feet. They’re really comfy and have great arch support. Thought it would hate the drawstring laces but I love them, you can tuck the toggle into the pocket on the tongue so it’s out of the way as well. I’m a 7 normally and am wearing 7.5 in this shoe.

Perfect Replacement For Previous Speedcross Shoes!

Delighted with my new Speedcross 5 trainers which are a replacement for previous ones whose soles I had worn out!! Immediately comfortable & easily able to cope with 1st, 2nd & 3rd 10k rough speedy hill walks

Perfect

Bought primarily for running in Alberta winter. Few months used, so far I am happy with my purchase. I purposely sized up by half since I'd be wearing thicker wool socks with it. I tried it in stores and it does feel narrower or bit heavier than my old speedcross pairs. But it's comfortable for my low volume feet and have the grip I was looking for. So hopefully this lasts long too!

Size Not Right

Great shoes but never in my life have I been a size 6. Make sure you measure correctly. I know need to return my pair and hope to get the correct size soon.

Newer Models Worse Construction

I bought a pair Feb time and after 3 m wear at the most they started falling apart! I am immensely disappointed with them. They are expensive shoes; I have worn speed cross shoes for many years and swear by them, always say they are like putting my feet in slippers but I have tried another brand as can’t be replacing them every few months. Salomon I think you need to reload at the material used here, there is something not right about them.

Could Not Wear - Crazy Narrow!

I just got these and was so excited to have waterproof runners. I could barely get my food inside as the shoe was so narrow as to be unbelievable. I am a very easy size 6, take a 7 in sneakers and have never had an issue with width. My go to shoe is Nike which I know run narrow, but I have no problem with them.The problem was around the middle (where Nike's are narrow. They were so tight, I packed them up, requested a return and they are on their way back to you. I have to believe the problem was just with these shoes, as I cannot imagine anyone being able to wear them! Sorry I had to give these 1 star. They are nice looking though!

200 Kms And Not A Blister Or Sore

I bought these to walk 200Kms of the Camino de Santiago in Spain and I didn't regret it. Not a sore spot anywhere while my friends unfortunately developed blisters everywhere, even with more expensive shoes such as Arcteryx. Easy to put on and take off, waterproof. Great shock absorbing. I had never even heard of Salomon but am a convert to the brand. Only comment is that I found the lace too long when I pulled them tight leaving them floppy.

Best Tread For The Slimiest Muds Ever!

This is my third pair of SpeedCross shoes and I'm just as thrilled with the performance of this pair as a I was with my first pair. I live in a dirt road, rainy area and was tired of slipping and sliding on the mud. I shopped around quite a bit and was thrilled to find these shoes. They never slip! Please put this tread on rubber boots for gardening!
