The flatter, neutral stance puts the skier in a more balanced position by preserving the natural flex and arc of the ski.

Bomber Bindings

This binding has served me well. I update every few years with this same binding and new skis! I've never had an issue with these binding and you can definitely feel it when you click in. Of all the equipment, bindings need to be reliable. These are the one for grip-walk soles. Ski Patrol/ski bum

Afd Plate Problems

I love the design but not the function. I have two pairs of Salomon Strive 14 on two pairs of skis. One replaced my Strive 12 on my ‘24 Stance 90 because the AFD plate would stick out of both skis and not retract. It was not once in a while, it was every time I skied. The local shop replaced the Strive 12 with Strive 14 hoping to fix the issue. It did not. If I ski anything other than powder with either set of skis the AFD plate sticks out and does not retract. It is worse on icy groomers or anything that develops a vibration. I even switched my sole from GW to flat as my daughter has the Strive 12 on her Stance 88 with a flat sole and has not had the problem, but she weighs less than 100 lbs. It did not solve the problem. I can’t recommend them to anyone over 100 lbs as this is a safety concern. I am looking to replace them with different bindings altogether which is very unfortunate because I really like the design otherwise.

Ok, But Flawed For Hardpack.

I wanted to love these bindings, but I think they caused a crash I had yesterday. After 15days without issue, I skied hard packed groomed on my 102 wide stances. If a binding flexes, it can cause chatter. I was chattering like crazy. When I got home I realized that the self adjusting toe on the Strive 14 has a ridiculous amount of flexibility (which is bad). I wouldn’t worry about it for lighter or less aggressive skiers. I’m 205 and have been skiing all my life. I didn’t have any problems on soft snow, but carving hard on midfats was pretty horrible. https://youtube.com/shorts/A017bC09kgw?si=axuHhBo3CBWCiQhZ

Durability Is Horrible

The plastic is garbage, way better off getting some look pivots or another more durable binding

Bindings

I bought this a month ago and am really looking forward to trying them out when the snow flies.

Classic Solomon

Have been a STH fan for years, this new strive really sets the new standard for top of the line bindings! Great feel on the snow with lower stand height on toe piece .Love em !

Simple

Durable and easy in easy off. Tough to get brakes apart is the only negative, but the stay locked together when toting on shoulder…so a draw.

Salomon Strive Gw Ski Bindings 100mm Copen Blue

Not happy with them! Safety movable plastic plates AFD prone to jam outside or inside the skis, during turn. 2023 Bindings mounted professionally by Salomon service on Stoeckli Stormrider 95 skis. AFD re-greased twice by two different services with binding grease, no improvement. Overlapping stuck plates can lead to accident and injury. Looking for recall or replacement both toe pieces. Other Salomon ski bindings I owned like STH and Warden always worked flawlessly. Can provide photo or video clip if requested.

Good Performance And Looks

I bought these bindings to pair with black crow serpos. I am nothing but pleased. They work great and look very good.

Solid Bindings

Solid, well designed slick fast look. Several colors so it always can match your skis and boots…🤞😎

They Seem To Work Fine.

skied on one time had no problems easy in and out with no pre release noted

Great Binding

The strive 14 is a no fuss straightforward binding! It's easy to set up, durable and it's low profile skis great!

Great Boot To Ski Transmission

We just got skiing here the strive binding is great easy on off with grip walk soles I find it has great contact from boot to ski

Very Nicely Designed Bindings

can't wait to click in on snow with this new set up!

Photo Color Is Incredibly Off.

I haven't skied these yet, so I can't speak to their quality (I am a Salomon junkie though, so I assume they will be great). Just want to let people know the colors are not at all what they look like in the photo. If you are trying to match these to skis or boots, it's good to have an accurate idea of what they actually look like. The blue is considerably more silver and less saturated, and the orange isn't nearly as vivid as in the listing photos.
