This jacket is warm and cozy, fits well, looks really good, and has features that are just what I was looking for. The only thing I wish for that I don’t have is better protection from the down feathers. Either the feathers are too large and strong or the fabric next to my body is too easily punctured, but I feel the poke of feathers sometimes when wearing this jacket. Perhaps it will stop doing this and stabilize as the coat gets worn in. But at the one month mark, I notice the discomfort.

I purchased this jacket for winter fat tire biking season ( I haven't used it yet due to lack of cold weather and snow). Fit is athletic, with some room to layer underneath. 5'11, 175 lbs, 42'' chest and large fits perfectly for my intended purpose. If you are looking for a roomier fit for casual wear, I would shop a different brand. I like that it sits a bit longer in back than in front (as all bike jerseys and jackets should) to cover you when on the bike, as well as plenty of arm length. Lightweight and easily packed down and stowed in a bike frame bag when not needed. I suspect it will be as durable as most down jackets and will not wear it when riding technical trail in brush or woods where it would likely get snagged, but bring it along for warmup and cool down periods as well as on the commute to the trail. I would only recommend some reflective elements to make it a perfect winter fat tire bike jacket.

Made the decision to buy this light weight, down jacket and couldn't be happier. Styling, cuts, etc. are perfect. It is light enough for every day but with the down fill can be warm enough when needed. For what it is, it is a great value.

One of the few brands that fit me well. This piece is light, comfortable, warm and well fit. It's a great mid layer when really cold and a great solo piece when its cool out.

Fits slightly small; I’m a large but needed an XL in this jacket. I liked the fit and weight, but I went to the Electron pro instead. I would recommend the infinity version of the microlight; tougher and more weatherproof/versatile than the standard alpine fabric.

I tried this jacket in a couple of sizes (small and medium), and I was unfortunately in between sizes. I love the Electron Pro that Rab makes, and have it in a medium, so I had hoped the sizing would be comparable, but it's unfortunately not. The small was great in length, but too tight, and the medium felt too long. I think it's ultimately just built for a person with a different build than me.

I’ve bought this jacket three times. The first jacket I left in Russia. The second jacket I lost on the Colorado trail. Wore that one 30 days straight more or less. Expensive, but it’s a great coat.

Bought this for my son to wear under his ski jacket. He said it's very comfortable and warm. He's an XL with long arms and broad shoulders. The fit is good for him.

This is still a good jacket but there are two big differences comparing to the previous generation of this jacket. The fill of the jacket (700) and the quality of the down (80/20) are subpar and just dont deliver, jacket is not warm enough. Outer shell is also a big issue. It is recycled fabric, softer but it doesnt look so resilient. Also it wrinkles like crazy.

Bought the Beluga color for my husband and he loves the quality. He changed for the light grey but was torn as the Beluga color is really cool too.

Have had this for a month now and so far and I have been impressed. I wore it in 1 degree temperature for a decent period of time (hour or so) and was pleased with how warm it is despite it being fairly thin and light in weight. I like that it is packable and light weight. It also has a nice slim visor with a moldable wire in the brim which I was skeptical about at first, but seems to be useful and not too obtrusive. Lots good points lead to the four stars. It would have got five stars if it had an inside pocket or two and if the fit was a bit less square (although I can imagine it is difficult to make a coat to fit several different body types). The stuff-sack is nice, but it is a bit bigger than it needs to be and therefore it doesn't pack the coat down to an optimal small size. Perhaps I am too picky, but overall the good far exceeds the short comings and I am quite pleased with the coat. Love the Rab name brand!

I bought the jacket for my husband (5’7”, 200 lbs). It’s a nice looking jacket, comfy for him, and a good fit. I bought the xl. It runs longer than his NF down sweater.

I’m thoroughly impressed with the performance of this down jacket, light, lofty and warm, repels and sheds light rain and snow and has a perfect hood! Much higher quality than the Patagucci items I own. The Euro left handed zipper took some getting used to but is now not a problem.

Superb attention to design, materials and production of this jacket creates a cornerstone for fall & winter activities. The investment in this jacket was my first but will not be my last! Well done!

I have worn this jacket probably 10 times now and I absolutely love it. This is only the 2nd down coat I have ever purchased but it is warmer than the heat coming off of my toyo stove exhaust you here in Seward Alaska. Perf mid layer! Cheers!
