I have several of these con I and I love them The reel is smooth and the rod is stout

I did not even get to use this combo. When i went to spool it with line the reel just broke and it would'nt spin.

Very Difficult To Use

As an adult who has used many types of reels, I found this one impossible. I am sure there is a skill involved that I am missing, but I ended up with a continuous ball of knotted line on the reel. The rod looks awesome, and I wish I had the skill to use it. Not for beginners. It would be a one-star purchase, but I blame myself for not being able to get it to work.

its very good for a starter rod and has amazing casting, also very smooth very good rod. note to self the drag was stuck at first but i guess you just have to apply a little pressure. ovr amazing rod!

Fantastic Rod And Reel

decent first baitcaster but after a while reel started to deteriorate and gradually get worse, like the handle spinning backwards on hooksets, and the bail button not closing well, but casting is okay, the ergonomics are alright and the sensitivity is mid. Overall it’s an okay first setup but would rather get something more quality.
