I switched from a old college backpack after I acquired too much gear… This bag is 1000% worth the price. The duffle style opening makes it extremely accessible all day while you’re at the crags

Overall, this backpack is great. It fits an 80m rope, two helmets, plenty of quickdraws, shoes, harness and more (although its a tight fit with all of those things). The backpack design is good, and i like that the front of the backpack is what touches the ground, not the side that goes on your back. My only complaint is that the backpack is very simple - there are no loops to clip stuff onto, or pockets for waterbottles, which is a bit annoying if you need to hike a bit. Overall a fantastic bag, especially for the price!!

This is great for all your climbing essentials! Easy to pack and unpack. Great design. Love the fold out mat to keep all your climbing gear safe from ground debris

Was looking for a rope bag to replace our trusty Metolius shoulder bag that I could also use to carry my gear in. I was attracted to the "backpack" design hoping to make scrambles and traverses easier than with a shoulder bag. I decided on the FLIFF for it's price and after reading reviews. I recently tried the bad during a 2-day outing around Smith Rock, OR. The good: The bag easily carried a 70m rope, harness, shoes, jacket, a water bladder, and a set of x8 quickdraws and biners. The built-in rope tarp can be removed and worked well. The bad: This is striclty more of a bag with straps than it is an all-day backpack for a rope. After lugging it over 2 hours from crag to crag, I sorely missed it not having a waist strap to help with the weight, as well as more padding on the shoulders. It could also use some extra outside pockets and/or a daisy chain to clip accesories to. That said, the material seems very robust, and the large zippered main compartment makes taking gear in and out a cinch. Happy enough with it, but a few extra tweaks by Petzl would really make this a killer bag.

This is an awesome rope bag for the gym, and crag. I used this bag carry a 70mm rope, shoes, chalk bag, Grigri, change of clothers, snacks, and there are still room to carry extra stuff. I highly recommend this bag.

Bought this as a gift for a friend and he very much likes it. He also doesn't have to borrow mine any longer. This is exactly what I wish I woupdve bought myself years ago, the tarp comes ou easily in the center and the handles on the corners make it super easy to shift over a few feet at the crag. Comfy on the back and holds all the essentials with a 60m rope.

Fits my 80m rope, 12 draws, 9 additional carabiners, slings, grigri, atc, harness, shoes, helmet and 32oz bottle. The removable rope tarp is great! Thought about buying another just to us and a duffel bag. Seriously for 60 bucks it’s a steal!

Bring this on many climbs. Large enough for 70 meter rope and gear. Extra pocket on top for more gear. Bag turns into a tarp. Love this bag. Padded shoulder straps too.

I just got into lead climbing (mainly indoors) and this pack is sweet! You can fit all your gear including shoes, harness, belay device, tape/clippers. If you are planning on climbing outdoors more, there isn’t enough room to fit a helmet, so just keep that in mind! Overall awesome quality and it looks slick!

I finally splurged and got myself a rope bag, and I'm sure glad that I did! The Petzl Kliff pack is solid and has some really smart design features. I only wish it had some side pockets for holding water bottles or snacks...but otherwise it's well worth the purchase.

This bag is pretty sweet it has a lot of from for gear even with the rope in the bag and the accessory pocket is also quite large! It is comfy even on some longer approaches. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is the lack of helmet carry.

This is a great bag but I wish it had a few more features. It isn't a huge bag so I'd like it if I there were some attachment points on the outside of the bag that would allow me to clip things like my helmet to it. I like it more than my previous rope bag though so I am happy with my purchase overall.

Overall good crag bag. Room for an 80m rope plus days worth of gear. Straps feel thin but are made of good material so probably won't break.

I bought this bag with the hopes that it would be able to store all of my climbing gear to bring to the crag. Not only does it fit a ton of gear, but its’ wide straps also make it pretty comfortable to carry as well. Convenient top pocket for smaller items is a plus as well!

This was my first rope bag and it has worked well the 3 times I've used it, I just came to realize I need more room for more gear, as of now it fits 60m rope, shoes, helmet, 4 16oz water bottles, harness. It is about full at this point and i haven't even loaded my 12 quickdraws, great bag for lighter loads and short approaches but when loaded with even a 60m rope harness helmet and shoes it feels like it should have a waist belt to help distribute the weight, not a bag to load up and take on a long or even moderate approach. Not the bag for me but I bet many will love it.
