My daughter is using these to bike commute for school. They keep her bone dry, and pack up super small in her pack during the day.

I purchased these for adventure racing, which often have waterproof pants as required gear. Pros - they are lightweight and affordable and meet gear requirements; Cons - not the most waterproof or durable - they wet out fairly quickly and I found after a day off trail hiking through some vegetation they are starting to delaminate on the inside of the lower legs. Overall, these work great as a lightweight rain pant to keep in your pack for surprise rain showers.

Soaked through. Hard to get dry for the next day's hike

From the first wear, these pants were leaking through the membrane. After one quick walk (less than 30 minutes) in moderate rain, the water had seeped through the membrane at the front of both thighs, leaving my pants underneath soaked. This worsened in the second and third wear. I'm hoping this can be resolved through warranty as it's clearly a defect, but I won't be repurchasing.

After many years with my Marmot rain pants and one very fun butt slide down snow, it was time for me to invest in new rain pants. I could not have been much more disappointed by these :( I wore these 4-5 times on a single backpacking trip, with no extreme or unusual use (no butt sliding this time!). The entire seat is now fraying and torn open in 2 places. I sat still on flat slabs of rock a couple times while cooking, but otherwise only wore these while lounging in camp or hiking. NOT DURABLE AT ALL :( I'd recommend Marmot instead.

I bought these for a 5 day expedition race to replace my heavier ones. Really pleased with them and they were great even while bushwhacking through woods. Kept me dry and warm!

I'm 5'7" but these rain pants seemed designed for someone about 6'! You can't hem these with the zipper so I had to put a tuck right below the knee. I should have returned for a smaller size but did not have time. Just be aware that these may run long for you.

Comfy and light, shaving ounces off my pack, and still makes a comfy pillow when its dry.

They are perfect for what I want them for: skiing and walking the beach in the rain

Wore these foraging for mushrooms in Oregon's coastal range. These kept me dry and cozy as I walked through rain and wet brush for hours

Great pants that don't take up much room in your bag. Waterproof and durable.

Took these rain pants on a ~550km 22-day thru-hike in the Canadian Rockies. My boyfriend and I both had a pair and ours both wore out at the seam on the inside leg above both ankles within a day or two of hiking with them. OR needs to add a more robust seam at this place so it doesn't tear. Due to dirt build-up, gear tape just fell off when we tried to repair on-trail. The rain pants were necessary on our trip for bush-whacking and protection from rain and snow, and did provide us with protection, but would definitely not buy again for this price due to durability issues - next time it's frog toggs for $30 for sure.

So disappointed. I was hoping for lightweight rain pants but got windbreaking pants instead. Three weeks on the Nahanni River and I wore my drysuit when in rained instead of these... Design is good though, and if they came in a short version (and were waterproof) they would be great....

These fit really well over thinner pants or tights, but consider sizing up if you need them to fit over work pants in the field.
