It is -4 below zero! We will not be using them for a while! I'm sure they will be fun!

Oru Paddle

The paddle works great. It’s adjustable and allows you to change the angle of the paddle as well as the length. Collapsing into a compact net bad make it light to transport. Great design.

Nicer Than Expected !

Keeping in mind that this paddle was part of the convenience add-on package, it struck us as quite solid and easy to use. The space-age wrap on the handgrip areas make gloves truly optional. . . :)

Lightweight & Strong

I got to hit the water a couple times and this paddles has been great. The height adjustment in the center with the splash guard in the ends is well thought out

Love My Paddles!

The Oru kayak paddles are wonderfully light and easy to put together.

Seems Pretty Good

Paddle has a clever design to put it together. Directions are a joke, but it's a paddle and most people can certainly figure it out. Haven't used it yet, will update if it isn't great.

Water Leak

Hello! I'm genuinely pleased with my purchase overall, and the convenience of storage and transportation is incredible! However, I've been out on 3 different lakes this since opening them up the first time and I do believe my second Oru Lake has a leak somewhere. There's no obvious signs on damage, and as I said I've used them both 3 times. The first time going out it was dry as bone inside (aside from some dripping from the paddle of course), but most recently I had to go to shore twice in the two hours I was out to dump out excess water. This is only in the black Oru Lake, my white one has no problems that I can tell. Aside from the damp tush and slight fear of sinking, I do really love these kayaks!

New To Foldable

OK, so I watched many many videos and I had to practice setting it up several times before I got it really all figured out now it goes quite easily

Sturdy And Compact

Oru paddle is very sturdy and good quality material. It breaks down into four pieces so it is more compact and easier to store.

Paddle

It is a paddle. It helps move my kayak through the water. Very helpful

Paddle

The paddle works ok, but tends to move around a bit. Not my favorite and I’ll be buying a different one, but will keep for a backup.

Insufficient Seat

For people with long torsos the puny and flimsy seat is useless. I've been out twice for a couple hours and came back each time with my back wrecked. The seat folds in half backward like a cheap suit. It needs to be taller and include some horizontal ribs to be of any use.

New Found Independence !!

I love LOVE my new Lake Kayak!! I could not be more thrilled with being able to drive to the lake at 4:30 after work and go relax on the water. It is a new found freedom for me. I’m older and can not lift the original type kayak on the roof of my SUV. I have gone several times by myself on the lake and feel absolutely fantastic about the experience. It is easy to set up and tear down. I just throw it in the back of my car and I do make sure that I rinse it when I get home. Do not take it over rocks. I will say I have broke the adjustable seat already. I don’t know what happened with that when I undid it it was broke. So be very careful with that. But I feel safe and I have gone where I have hit a few waves. And it has not flipped my kayak like some reviews said it would do. I absolutely would suggest this to any person who wants to do this alone. I feel safe and empowered. I couldn’t be more thrilled❤️
