I’m a long time Oboz fan. In fact, other than my one pair of dress shoes and pickleball shoes, the only shoes I own are Oboz. I’ve tried hiking in trail runners but their lack of lateral stability and light weight don’t fare well on volcanic rock in the High Cascades. My Oboz take a lick, protect my feet, and are very comfortable.

This is my third pair of this shoe. I will not buy any other brand. They meet all the needs of an all purpose shoe. From hiking, mowing, walking downtown or working. The waterproof feature is great. They are very well made and hold up to anything I've put them through. I still wear my older shoes (2yeras old)for the real messy jobs and they still do the job. They begin as rigid but soon loosen up and fit to you feet.

Read reviews and watched every available video before I bought these. I'm an older US Marine that's worn many types of boots, frankly some barely tolerable. I've a wide foot with high instep. These are awesome! I recommend you buy a size larger and wear good wool socks. They've exceeded my expectations and my favorite everyday wear as well. You'll appreciate the looks, great comfort, HD construction and waterproofing, especially on the cold rainy hike. Liked 'em so much I bought another pair in another color. Super job Oboz! I'm a fan 😊

Very comfortable. I wear 9.5 sometimes, the 10 is an exact fit. I was afraid would be hot to wear but they are not. They are not as heavy as they appear.

This will be my 3rd pair of Firebrand II. Very durable and comfortable. A great shoe that will last you a long time. These shoes will keep your feet dry and comfy all day long

So far this has been a great shoe, very comfortable, fits well. I haven't been able to take it on any trails yet, just around town and it's been comfortable walking on mostly concrete and snow so far. So far going through the snow they have kept my feet completely dry which is what I was looking for. The first time I put them on I thought maybe I should have gone with the wide size but they broke in very quickly and fit pretty close to perfect. If you were using these as long range hikers with super thick padded or multiple pair of socks I would probably go with the wide size. I am a larger man, 6'1 about 260 pounds with messed up feet and knees from the Army days so a good fit and shock absorption is important in a shoe for me and so far these fit the bill with a great outsole. I got these as more casual/easy local mountain trails 2-3 miles, walking shoes and I think they will work perfectly for me.

I have given up hiking boots since switching to Oboz Firebrand shoes. They feel like a boot with great traction. The support is amazing. I routinely do 20 mile day hikes in Glacier National park with no foot problems.

This is actually my second pair of these shoes. I wear them nearly every day for casual situations and even many business ones because they look sharp, but unique. Most importantly, they protect my feet better than any other shoes I've ever owned. The one downside is they are a bit heavy, but they more than make up for that in the fact that they are extremely comfortable and protective. They support my arches very well and never trigger any of the common foot pains I encounter with my other shoes. They are also waterproof which makes them great for trail hiking!

These ran too small for me; I also found them on the heavy side. I returned them in favor of Alta Lone Peak runners. Absolutely in love with the Altra in wide. Not waterproof but perfect.

Bought these to replace my old ones that have been my main shoes. All good things must come to an end, so the only thing to do is to replace them with an other pair. They are comfortable and tough. Give plenty of support and fit great.

I bought this shoe a month. Great shoe, fits good, looks great and holds up great under tracking long distances through the woods. The sizes run one smaller.

Purchased august 2022. By October 2022 they have already broken down and no longer comfortable and causing pain in my feet. I have kennetreks that are several years old and I'm having to go back to using them as my daily wear as they don't hurt. Didn't hold up as I expected

These are my favorite shoes. I wear them everyday for life. They are so comfortable and durable. They wear like cast iron, never gonna wear anything else.

I have been having foot issues with a neuroma for the last couple of months and the only relief I get is from the fantastic support and cushion of these shoes. Excellent traction for any terrain and breathable enough to not make your feet a sweaty mess.
