Odd In Size But Useful.

Have had this for only a couple months. Intended for it to be a bag for my climbing gear but it’s a bit big and heavy duty for that simple task. Instead it has become a stand in rear bag for my motorcycle. The accessory loops make for easy tie downs on to the bike and the duffel clips secure it otherwise. Certainly seems well made. As others have said I find the 55l to be an odd size, I will likely get the smaller one as well just to compare. Love the concept so far, though I’ve admittedly not used the back pack function as of yet. Maybe the first time I fly with it I will.

Very capable and versatile enough to be a great all in one option. Feels very quality and I expect it to last a long time.

Awesome Commuter Tote

I've been using it for a couple of weeks for my daily commute on the train and it's perfect. Plenty of room but it stays slim and unobtrusive.

This Bag Has Been Around The World... Woot Woot

I purchased this duffle in late spring (2025), I wanted someting that would hold enough of my cloths to head-out on a long trip (used it on an 18 day safari). This duffle is very well made and the material is durable. I don't check baggage but this bag has been tossed in the bottom of several small(er) planes without any issues. The zippers and buckels are big and rugged. It also, after many uses, fits back into it's storage bag without concern.

Another Outstanding Nemo Product!

This is a fantastic duffle. Fantastic color (Chai), love the stand open feature, and is definitely more durable than anything you’ll find in any box store and easily a carry all bag, for one person. I have a different brand in a 135 liter. It’s nice, but gets heavy quick. This 55 is perfect. I wanted to see this bag in person before I ordered another, I’ll be submitting that order following this review.

Versatility At Its Finest!

I love the DH 55. It folds up nicely for storage. It’s perfect for hauling groceries, camping gear, or clothes for a long weekend with the wife. It’s the most versatile piece of camping equipment I own!

Great Bag For All Kinds Of Fun

For most things 55L is plenty big, but every so often you need that extra space. I love how seamless the convertible part of this duffle works. The fabric and zippers work perfect and are super tough and reliable.

Great Fabric And Warmth

I am a casual am at camper with my Cubscout. I got this so my pillow would stop wandering off my pad. The sleeping bag has a pouch for the pillow which worked beautifully. The bag also feels much better and it was extra warm

Revolutionary Duffel Bag

I bought this bag a couple of weeks ago and I’m super impressed with it. Not only is it packed with functional features, but it also looks great. For a 55-liter bag, it offers plenty of room. When converted to a tote, it feels like the bag doubles in size. I really like how the tote handles can also be used as a shoulder strap when it’s in duffel mode—perfect for carrying short distances. The backpack straps are fantastic; they make traveling so much easier compared to carrying the bag on my shoulder or in my hands. My only complaint is that the center handle feels stiff and awkward to hold, and in duffel mode the bag struggles to keep its shape. That said, it holds up very well in tote mode, especially if there’s something in the bottom to stabilize it.

WOW, I am not on to write reviews but after shopping for a large carry on backpack and testing all the competitors, i was blown away about how much i could fit into this bag. rolling clothes and packing cubs helped a ton, but i managed enough clothes for a 10 day trip to Europe with this bag, and it fit in the over head bin of the plane. my only sight complaint is i wish there was a way to add a waist strap to the bag, it did get heavy on the shoulders when the weight was over 30lbs, but hey we wanted to bring wine and ciders home :) my husband and I loved traveling with these bags

Double Haul

Super versatile bag. Have used it as a Tote, and duffel/backpack. It’s lightweight and has plenty of pocket options. I got the 55 due to it being carry on size once strapped down. Awesome bag.

Pretty Solid Bag

As advertised. I thought it would be good to try as a backpack duffel. It has worked well for short work trips. The 55L is a good size. Not sure on the usability of the tote feature for anything other than car travel. The material seems louder than less green materials.

Well Thought Out Bag

There is a lot of thought and detail put into not just this bag but all the Nemo gear I own. The material and stitching is solid. The way the handles/straps all have a purpose for how you want to carry the bag makes it very user friendly. Highly recommend for any travel or gear hauling adventures.
