Simple And Effective!

Simple product that does exactly what it needs to. Barely weights anything, can fit in numerous places in/on the backpack, and keeps my butt dry when I sit down!

Durable Seat

Purchased this item due to previous purchase and reviews of the quality of NEMO products and I am not disappointed. This durable rugged pad is perfect for backpacking and chores around the house. Can't wait to use it more but definitely pleased with my purchase.

Perfect Lil Tag-a-long

Exactly what it looks like. Purchased to give me an option for longer backpacking trips where weight is a factor. Will also use around the house as a kneel pad and for kids sporting events that have bleachers.

Simple And Effective But

Should have a bungee or something to keep it closed. Simple small and light weight. Will be using for sittting in the snow during ski races. Much better than nasty old carpet!

Great Option For The Backcountry

I have wanted to buy this pad for awhile now and I finally went for it. I am so glad that I did. I am not a camp chair-bringer on my backcountry pursuits but I am always left wishing I had something for my mornings at camp. This seat makes comfort in the backcountry so much better while still keeping weight low. I only wish it had a strap or clip to keep the pad closed, but that is a minor issue easily fixed with some cord.

Cozy And Compact

A nice addition to my bikepacking set up or for events/festivals. Lightweight and comfortable for those poor site bones that don't want to sit on the ground anymore. :)

Good Product But…

Comfy, looks solid, and love the concept of the recycled materiel… but should consider something simple to keep it close…

Great "Seat" For Ultralight Backpacking

My son and I do a tremendous amount of backpacking. We just finished a 52 miler out west in the mountains. He is under 100 pounds. This is a great replacement for a chair for him when we are in the backcountry. I also have one that I use as a glassing pad for hunting trips. It's lightweight, durable, and practical.

Compact, Comfy, And Conscious

The Chipper is one of those small pieces of gear that ends up going everywhere with me—from trail breaks to music festivals. It’s surprisingly comfortable for how light and compact it is, and I love that it’s made from reclaimed foam. The sustainability story behind it really aligns with why I shop NEMO in the first place. Packs easy, holds up well, and adds that extra bit of comfort outdoors. Highly recommend!

Awesome Piece Of Kit To Have When It’s Cold

It’s light weight and small enough to keep super easily accessible, which is great if you want to take a quick break from hiking or whatever you’re doing and pop a squat without your bottom getting cold/wet/muddy. Its great that they’re putting good use to recycled materials that otherwise would have been wasted. I personally think the pattern is really cool.

Much Better Options

I was upset after receiving this pad to learn that there’s nothing to keep it folded shut. There is a small loop to attach the pad to the outside of your pack, but only loops on one end of the pad. This leaves it flapping open unless you spend additional money or fasten some kind of strap to keep it shut. Additionally, the tips of the raised bumps on the pad began ripping after 2 uses on a wooden bench and now I am lefts with several holes. Questioning the longevity of this pad. Z seat from Thermarest may be a more robust option for the price, though a bit less thick.

Lightweight Tush Cush

I love this "cushion". It's lightweight, packable, and environmentally friendly. I use it every outing.

Exceeds Expectations

I bought this on a whim. I had picnic table bench covers already, but was curious about this product and figured it could come in handy. As it turns out, I use this all the time now. It's great for picnic areas where I am only there for a short while and don't want to set up everything under the sun (like the full bench covers). It stores in the passenger door pocket in my vehicle and is so easy for me to grab up. Whenever I pull this out to use it, I can tell that strangers are giving me the "I wish I had that gear" look. Even though I wasn't into the bright colors, they've grown on me. It helps me spot that I've left out it out so that I don't forget it when I'm packing up. I would absolutely buy this again and recommend to others.
