The bag looks as if the finish/texture is worn off/damaged in a few places. I think this is relayed to how the bag was shipped unprotected inside just a shipping bag. To compare, I also ordered the black version of this from Amazon and it was inside of a factory sealed clear plastic bag and then that was shipped in a cardboard box for protection. The photos show some darker discolored spots and one scrape that removed the finish/texture and now appears shiny. The bag is pretty large and can handle a 14” laptop, 15.6” external monitor, Bluetooth keyboard, iPad Air, and all associated cable without needing to unzip the expansion. I like it, but the condition is just fair and the color seems to be more olive than light brown/wood
