Should be called the Bug House for all the spiders it attracts! Nice item, but they should really update the door so it zips all the way open and put a double zipper slider on it taboot. Small finicky zipper sliders like all tents these days.

Great addition to my elixer 2 tent. Simple set up and extremely functional in serving its purpose. Steak and guy it out taught with your tent, and it will perform as designed. I look forward to utilizing it on most my excursions regardless the additional weight.

I've used MSR products since my teenage years. I'm now 52. I'm still using a stainless cook pot from when I hiked the Appalachian Trail when I was 24. MSR makes some of the most reliable gear out there. I bought a hubba hubba 2 and decided to add on the gear shed. First, the tent itself is well thought out and made of high quality materials. Super light as well, even with the additional ground cloth. Second, I don't know what I would do without the gear shed. I'm solo motorbiking and the two fit in the tent stuff sack. The shed provides me the room I need for the additional riding gear and a place to throw everything when the afternoon thunderstorms hit. This way I can live a more civilized life in a tent that has plenty of room for playing cards, leaving the wet and smelly stuff outside the tent. I've been hit with a lot of weather and the two stand their ground, keeping me and my gear dry and happy.

I have left two reports with your website without receiving a response. With a brand new Hubba 3 - the poles inner metal connectors all came loose on day three on the Nahanni River - the same thing happened to our guide's Hubba 2 and then one day later another guide's Hubba 2. I purchased it online and was shocked when the poles came and they were fiberglass. After years of being an MSR fan and owner I was incredibly disappointed.

Combined with the Hubba Hubba 2 it was the perfect tent for a 16 day bike tour across Oregon in late October. Lot's of space to store wet gear and to cook in a storm.

I bought this for my wife as an add on to her tent she will be taking on a trip to Philmont in New Mexico. It’s small enough to not add much weight or bulk but also provide additional room so she isn’t having to sleep with her pack inside the tent. It’s a perfect addition to provide more room without the weight.

Love this! Very easy to set up, adds alot of extra weather protected space for storage and cooking! Lightweight, works well with my elixer 1 and also my elixer 2!

The gear shed fits our Elixer 3p great and provides a luxurious vestibule. We like how we can choose to take it and the extra weight or leave it when we are going more fast and lite.

Easy to carry but the material is cheaper and leak a little.

I am very happy with the vestibule. It certainly adds more versatility to my tent, now the dog and my gear can fit inside without feeling cramped

Received for Christmas after looking at for a year or two. Used this weekend with my Hubba Hubba and it was awesome. Normally we bring two tents since between the gear and the dog there just isn't room for everyone. This completely changed that. We kept our gear and dog bed in it and it worked like a dream with the door open for the dog to wander between her bed and ours. Have not tried it in rainy weather yet so I cant speak for weatherproof-ness

I was worried before buying it, but the purchase was a good choice. The tent can be used more comfortably with this gear shed. This is exactly what i want. The delivery took a while, but that didn't matter.
