The fabric is not soft. The texture makes the fabric scratchy; it's not even all that attractive. Sizing chart is incorrect too. Garment is HUGE! Lackluster purchase.

I freaking love this zip up. The pull over was nice too, but needed a zip. The texture is interesting (which is good, adding texture to outfits provides complexity) light but heavy enough for summer breeze. It's comfortable and I feel so cute in it :) I traveled on 5 flights for a long trip and it was the perfect airport/plane cover up. Please make more like this MH!

Frankly, I am not sure how I am going to use it. The fabric isn’t that comfortable. I do like the color and will see if it has a function for me.

I've been looking for UPF clothing in the form of a jacket/ has a zipper for walking my dog in sunny weather. This is perfect for what I need it for, while looking fun with a cool design that doesn't make you think of golf courses of sailing. It has pockets and even inner pockets its light but still has structure. My only not its that I wished it had a thread or loop that would make it easier to hang it up (I currently have to hang it by the hood) but that's just me.

I love love this jacket! It’s perfect for summer, lightweight but warm enough for chilly nights or breezy beach. My only negative is that it needs some kind of loop for hanging it up..I’ll figure something out. Happy with my purchase tho!

I didn’t know I needed this, but it’s such a convenient lightweight jacket for summer. The material seems like it would be scratchy but it’s magically not. I stuff it in my fanny pack for when the temps drop and always get compliments when I wear it.

I just purchased my fourth Sunshadow top. I work outside and the older I get the more protection I need. These are perfect, and I live in them in the summer. I intensely dislike the more common “rashguard” style sunshirts. The fabric on these is light and sits away from, instead of clinging to, your skin. I keep saying I will try other brands but if it’s not broken….

Almost great. The fabric and the roomy arms and torso part of the jacket is spot on. And the color was as excellent IMO. But the elastic waistband didn't cut it. I don't think it was necessary on this style. Totally would have kept it if the waistband fit my hips or is was a non-elastic waistband. Bummed I have to return it.

I want this in every color. The fabric is light. Will work well for hiking on hot days when I don’t want to deal with goopy sunscreen mixed with sweat. I usually wear a small or medium, I got a medium and it’s loose in a nice way. I may order a small in a different color for a more fitted look.

Love that it’s a full zipper. So light! Perfect for me for after outdoor tennis matches where I’m out in the sun. Packs up so tiny too! Washes well, I hang it to dry. Loose fit- I’m a short size 14 and the xl is plenty roomy

I have their long sleeve hoodie and I was excited to see that they have a full zip. I really like my hoodie and I still use it; but I also like the freedom to have an unzipped jacket for a bit more ventilation. I love this jacket so much! It is light and perfect for walking on a sunny day. I usually get a heat / sun rash which can be prevented by wearing sunblock, but I don't always want to put sunblock on my arms when I go for short walks. This jacket is my go to as it has UPF 40 and has anti-odor and moisture wicking properties. I highly recommend it!

Lightweight and so good! Just as described. I wore this in 100+ heat and didn’t overheat at all, surprisingly! And it kept the sun off my arms and neck. I did size down - normally I’m a medium but ordered a small, and it fits perfectly. Would recommend many times over.

I had a pullover version of this from awhile ago and just purchased the full-zip -- I love it even more! It's a stellar lightweight and breathable layer. It's technical but also casual so I love using this as a versatile layer (like after a long trail run, throwing this on and hitting the patio for a beer with my friends is my A+ move). I appreciate the arm length too -- I've washed it numerous times and hasn't shrunk.

It's a great looking sun hoody (bought the yellow) and I love the front zip. Sizing wise the small has room for plenty of layers, which I like. However I found myself getting pretty warm wearing it, more so than my other MW sun hoody (pullover, different fabric). Finally, the WORST part, is that it holds onto odor like you wouldn't believe. 10 days after wearing it for a hike it still smelled like my BO. I had to wash it twice, and even then the scent wasn't all gone. MH needs to consider adding more natural materials to their repertoire...give me merino pleassseeeeeeeeeeee.

Very light weight and breathable! I’m 5’1” 125lbs and I got the xs and it fit perfectly. Only sad thing is that for the Fogbank color, the model has a black shoe string thing and the one I received was white string :-( not a big deal but I liked the contrast of the models picture. Oh well!
