The Fabric Is Fragile.

The fabric is extremely fragile. I've got a snagged thread the third time wearing the jacket. And I have been wearing it only in town. How is the jacket supposed to survive outdoors? However the look and the feel is great.

Perfectly Utilitarian

There's a reason you see so many really favorable reviews of this jacket. It checks all the boxes. Packable, super light, blocks the wind, repels mist or light rain and looks great. Pull it out of your kit at a windy summit or the top of a pitch. If you are slim and athletic, it fits true to your usual size. I have a paunchy "dad bod", so I had to go up one size for midriff room. You won't have to, though. I also have the lined hoody version of this garment, and like it equally for belaying or just spectating at the base of the crag.

Color In Accurate

I purchased color "moon moss" and it seems like more like yellow on the website but actual product is more so light green. They need to color accurate the product on their website.

Excellent

Perfect ascent shell to dump heat while breaking wind. I wear this over a 250gram smartwool baselayer while ascending mountains in 25-45 degree weather.

Light As A Feather.

The good is that this is the lightest shell I've ever put on - it's as light as a feather. But, I still don't understand why MHW won't put in cinch waist cords anymore? It's not so great to have air come up thru the bottom with no way to tighten up. Additionally, the no wrist cuff is bizarre. Fernglow is a nice electric yellow color and the sizing is just right this time.

An Excellent Jacket Marred With Odd Sizing

This jacket is delightfully lightweight and packable. It's incredibly thin, but still works as an excellent windbreaker. I wear a size L in all MH top products. Every so often, I find a top where the L seems a bit small all around. This jacket was weird because the length was a touch short, but the sleeves were long. I love my Kor Strata and was so excited to try a new product in the same line. The product would be great if the sizing was more consistent with the rest of the brand.

My Only Windshell

I have been using multiple Kor products for a while and added this one to my closet recently. It has many uses but what I use it for is early morning hikes and rides. It adds just enough warmth over a base layer to reduce the bite of morning chill. The fabric is crazy stretchy and soft, and while I haven't been rough on this one, my insulated Kor Strata is a ski layer I have hammered all season with no issue. This thing is crazy packable too so it makes it easy to shove into a pocket or my lumbar pack.
