Great Light Jacket

6'2", 190lbs. Large fits really well. Material is a bit lighter than i was hoping. Pretty much always have to have a fleece and/or another light jacket underneath. But quality is great and has an actual decent zipper

Amazing Jacket, Great Fit.

Love this jacket, highly recommend it. Great pockets and ventilation, the hood fits perfectly over the helmet and the zip can go all the way up with the hood on. It is nice and loose (I bought a large when i’m a medium for a looser fit) and there are adjusters everywhere to customize your fit. Only negative is my zipper gets stuck and often needs a lot of force to pull up. Other than that, 5/5.

Worked Very Well

It started raining at 8am on a cool December morning in Olympic forest. It stopped raining/snowing/sleeting at about 4am. All gear in the pack was wet and we huddled up together and waited about 20 miles from the car into the night. Hurt to move. When the stars revealed and the sun came up, we through fear back into packs and got back to car. My upper half was a bit clammy, but dry. The jacket likely saved me from hypothermia. My only critique is that I didn’t buy the pants too.

Without "Gore-tex Pro" On The Upper Right Sleeve

I bought 2 size for this jacket, 1 XL size for and 1 S size for my father. Detail: --Item No: 888663724910 --Color: Blue Slate --Size: S *Only my jacket have marked "GORE-TEX PRO" on the upper right sleeve but not my father's jacket. They should be the same as the official website presented. The motivation to be attracted for me to purchase is "GORE-TEX PRO", the high quality performance, without that mark, I won't buy it. I would like to know the compensation for this big issue. (the add images function is not workable)

Great Jacket

Light, packable, breathable, versatile, over helmet hood, and pit zips. Perfection

Near Perfect For Its Intended Purpose

I have lived in the PNW most of my life. I have a closet full of rain gear, but I have recently lost a significant amount of weight and wanted to size down from what I have been using. I wholeheartedly lean into the ethos that “there is no bad weather, only bad clothes” and this jacket has usurped all others as my favorite hard shell for alpine climbing. The only complaint I have is that the hand pockets are hard to open due to being further out towards the sides of the jacket requiring more twisting to see where they are or more fiddling around without looking to find the zipper pull. It is not enough of a gripe to consider not giving it 5 stars. This is an exceptional piece of kit and I will be carrying it on all of my climbs for the foreseeable future. As far as fit, I am 6’ 200 lbs and the L fit just how I wanted which was to allow enough room to wear a puffy underneath without compressing the down and sacrificing its warmth.

Best In Class

I have been wearing the Dawnlight for the last month of ice/mixed climbing in Alaska. The jacket has a fantastic fit, comfortable when making strenuous moves, and of course the Gore-Tex Pro keeps the snow out and the body dry. When you first try on the jacket it feels very well made and I expect it will last a long time.
