New Shoes - Siren 2
I have two pairs of boots and one pair of other Merrell shoes and after years of having them, it was time for new shoes. I bought the Siren 2 waterproof women shoes, along with a pair of slip on shoes back in August. I like the sirens & their style, but I feel they are too stiff and way too uncomfortable. The other shoes (of which I can't remember the style name right off) is incredibly comfortable. (I have a heel spur on one foot and chronic foot pain in both feet-especially the right one from two hiking injuries and look for shoes that give me great comfort and stability.) I've never had my feet to hurt as much from wearing shoes as what I do with these. I've worn them too much to return them, but I hope to find a pair of shoes that has this kind of traction, but with more give and comfort. They're also slick on certain types of flooring as well. I'll continue to wear them and hope over time they break in some. I know these shoes have a lot of good reviews and I certainly do not diminish other's experience with these shoes. I will click recommend because I don't think someone should shy away from trying a product because it doesn't work for someone else. Everyone's experience will be different, this just happens to be mine. I do love the Merrell brand and it has served me well in the years and the miles and miles I've hiked.

Siren
I have bought this shoe when it was Just Siren Edge (2 Pairs) i have since boughten the Siren Edge 3. In Blue and Black. I love these shoes. They don't need breaking in. There are never stiff or hard spots(Heel) I found that the black one for some reason when looking down looks wider then the blue one.lol I usually get about a year out of them. I wear them for work 3 times a week and i walk every morning and at night. They get worn alot.

Feel Every Rock And Root
I bought these to replace and old pair, which were great. Pros: Nice style and color with good toe protection Cons: The sole is so thin that I can feel every root and rock. The new shoe is much wider than the older version especially in the toe box. I normally buy a half size larger than my normal shoe size for hiking footwear, but as compared to the older style, the sizing is much wider and the sole is thinner. I wouldn't suggest buying this shoe if you plan on using for hiking through wooded trails.

Very Comfortable
Quite possibly the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. The wide width provides a roomy toe box which is exactly what I need due to a recent foot surgery.

Not The Merrell Of The Past
Extremely poor quality. I have given Merrell another chance as I have had quality issues with past purchases. This one is no different. The backs have no support, Very poor quality. Will be my last purchase.
