Great Fit

Fit is great. Exactly what I was looking for. Love the arched footbed.

Just received new boots and they were very difficult to get on. Zipper very stiff and unable to close completely. Tight around ankles but hopefully with wear things will loosen up.

These Boots Were Made For Walking

Good looking, warm and comfortable. I forgot my shoes at home one day and wore my boots to the office. I would do it again on purpose 😉

Love Them!

I'm sure they are the best boots I have ever owned. I have cozy warm and dry feet. The zipper was a bit stiff and tough at first, but has nicely loosened up with use. Fit is perfect.

Slip On Winter Boots

Boots fit very well. Very comfortable. I have multiple pairs of Merrell boots and shoes size 6. I ordered size 6 and they fit as expected. Perfect for running around I.e. groceries, shopping, in and out of car.

Clunky

Clunky and uncomfortable was hoping to replace an old favorite that wore out but this was stiff and heavy. Not enough cushion.

Too Cold!

I find the boot doesn't protect my feet from the cold that effectively, especially the top of the foot.

Good Boot

I loved these boots the minute I put them on. Fit was good, and they were comfortable. Two comments for why I gave them 4 stars instead of five: 1. They are not as antislip as I had hoped they would be, despite advertising the sole that way. But still a good sole. 2. They are hard to get on because I have a high instep and the top of the boot is rigid, The side zip does not give me an easy entry. Otherwise they are a terrific boot. My second pair of Merrells. I would rebuy.

Tight Ankle Area But Otherwise A Good Winter Boot

Like others I was skeptical of buying this boot but was wanting a pair with the Arctic Grip feature. Everyone is correct, they are tight in the ankle area (if you have wider ankles, probably wouldn't work). I have small ankles so even though they are tight, think it will still work for me. Wore around the house and it loosened a bit and hoping it will loosen even more after more wear outside. The boots are a bit bulky but for snow boots, that's to be expected. The soles did squeak on wood floors, but seems to be the grip feature (fine on carpet) and so a good thing. True to size for me. I have an average width foot and the footbed gives ample room (even accommodates my bunions). The insoles didn't meet expectations but are removable so I put in a pair of third party insoles that made the boots very comfortable. Hoping that Merrell will introduce new snow/ice boot styles for women.

Too Small

They seemed like high quality boots. However, they are very stiff and run small. I ended up returning them. I didn't exchange for a bigger size because I wasn't sure whether to go up a 1/2 or full size because of the stiffness.

Disappointed

Not as slip resistant as advertised. You will still slip on icy surfaces with these, which I had not expected. Also the issue with the zipper that many have mentioned. Stiff zipper and does not stay up. Also fits larger and wider than other Merrels that I've had in the past. Overall disappointed considering the cost.

Comfy And Warm.

Well made and very comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and I don’t need my orthotics in these bc they have great arch support. Kept my feet warm while I was shoveling snow for couple hours at 25 degrees. Little tight around the top if fully zipped tho. But I can live with that

Great Warm Boot!

I ordered these for Christmas for myself. They fit perfectly (size 5) and are super warm in below zero temperatures. Great for walking or shoveling snow!

Highly Recommend

Used for everyday winter activities, including dog walking, snow shoveling.They are comfortable, warm and grippy enough to feel stable in slippery conditions. They look good too!! Exactly what I wanted, Merrells always delivers!

I'd Give These Boots A "C"

These boots are warm and waterproof but they do have some shortcomings. I hate wearing socks, so the plastic-y unpleasant feel of the insoles forced me to buy a pair of shearling insoles. Also, the zippers are very stiff and difficult to open and close. The gusset inside the zipper made the opening very small so that it was a real wrestling match to get them on my feet and the gusset fabric rubbed the skin off my ankles. I fixed this by cutting one side of the gusset so that it will wrap smoothly over my ankles.
