Used them ankle socks every day on three safaris and two trips to Europe instead of sandals.

Comfortable Pebble Eater
I’ve had these shoes for probably 3to4 months now. They are comfortable, I do like them. I use them as a gym shoe and wear them out and about, So not heavy use. My biggest complaint is the tread pattern grabs Little Rock’s. I’m constantly pulling Little Rock’s out of the tread. For shoes intended for trail running the lug pattern isn’t great. That’s my feedback for the next generation of this shoe is a different pattern that doesn’t eat Little Rock’s.

Tongue Issues
I bought these shoes 6 months ago , the fit well and perform well but the concern is the tongue. the elastic has ripped on both right and left shoes underneath the tongue. other than that these are good shoes but we'll have to stop wearing them shortly. he fix would be to create a new tongue system not one that is on to the inside Arch

Excellent For Nursing And Exercise
I've been walking like 8k+ steps daily in these and they're great. Good to run in too and my feet feel fantastic in them. Would recommend. If anything I almost wish the toe box were just a bit wider but it's pretty decent compared to other shoes I've worn

Footwear That Is Worth Trying
I on most days walk between 4 and 6 miles so I needed footwear that is comfortable and last a while. I haven’t walked in them enough yet to tell if they will hold up, but I love the toe box and overall comfort!! Try them if you’re tired of cramped shoes with prices that flat out aren’t justified!!

Light Weight And Comfortable
Very comfortable and light but not what I would wear on the trail. More of an around the house shoe.

No Arch Support
Arch support is almost non-existent to the point where I believe it caused a case of Plantar fasciitis to flare up after a single use.

Not A Fav
The fit for me wasn't great. I wear size 13 in Merrels. These were more roomy than I expected. Too long, too wide in the tow, though fit ok elsewhere. I didn't like the way they looked either. Not my style. I returned them.

Outstanding Addition To My Summer
The Trail Glove 7 has been an outstanding addition to my summer and outdoor lineup. I primarily use them for light hiking and biking, and they perform exceptionally well in both. What I appreciate most is the sole—it’s grippy, solid, and gives great feedback without sacrificing stability. On the bike, that translates into confidence and control, and on trails, it provides a natural, connected feel to the ground. They’re lightweight, breathable, and incredibly comfortable for extended wear, especially in warmer weather. This is exactly the kind of versatile, minimalist outdoor shoe that’s hard to find done right. Merrell really fills a unique niche for me with this model—functional, well-designed, and adaptable across activities.

Shoes Run Very Large.
I typically wear 10.5’s but when I received the shoes they were way too big. I sent them back for size 10 and they were still way too big. I decided to keep them because I was tired of sending them back. I don’t think I will wear them very much due to the size.
