If you want a shoe that is more for running on hiking trails, this may be for you. I wanted a shoe with more support - and ended up with a shoe that already feels like it's breaking down with daily use on normal (not hiking nor running) surfaces. My ankles and feet bother me at the end of the day that I have not had with previous Merrell VIBRAM products - and I've only been wearing them about a month and a half.
