Don’t Waste Your Money.
I bought these glasses to have a lightweight pair that I could wear for the entire day while hiking. While the frames seem to be well made, light weight and robust rather than fragile, the lenses are terrible. Let’s start with the optics. When I’ve purchased expensive sunglasses in the past (Smith, Revo, even other Maui Jim’s), there is a level of clarity or enhancement when wearing them on a sunny day. These glasses almost make things look blurry or foggy rather than crisp or clearer. Secondly (and more importantly), these lenses are not glass and are highly subject to scratching. Within the first hour of wearing these, I cleaned the lenses with the cloth provided and immediately began to see micro scratches on the lens surface. Over time these have evolved into visible scratches on the mirrored surface of the lens. If you’re going to invest in a decent pair of sunglasses, I’d suggest: #1. Buy a pair with glass lenses vs. light weight composite lenses that claim to have anti-scratch treatment. #2. Look for a pair from a brand like Smith or Costa. I’ve owned a few pairs of Maui Jim’s and have been very disappointed with their lens quality.

So Light You'll Forget Their On
Seriously, these are some of the most comfortable Maui Jim sunglasses I've ever worn. I've been a fan because of the glass lenses (no matter what they say, you can just see more clearly out of glass) and these are the most lightweight sunglasses I've ever worn. I lost a pair of heavier sunglasses and replaced them with these and couldn't be happier. These also have nose pieces rather than sitting directly on your nose. That seems to be better for a straight fit and allows adjustments. Also, if you sweat in these, it doesn't pool up in the lenses. Overall, I couldn't recommend enough.
