Great, lightweight, Rain jacket that packs down small So it is great to keep in the backpack for emergencies

I tried this jacket on in a store and decided to order online (they were pricey). I ordered a size larger, as I want the ability to layer with sweaters underneath. To my surprize, I saw online that there was a great deal and a two-tone black/off-white jacket available. I am over the moon with my raincoat! It is top quality and I especially like all the elevated details that make this jacket perfect for rainy weather. The length is perfect also—not too short or too long. Best of all, it packs into its own pocket and travels like a pro!

I ordered this jacket because I needed a lightweight jacket for the occasional rains during my travels. I’m looking forward to using it on my trip to Honduras
I love it! Fits perfectly and was JUST what I was looking for!

A necessary jacket for Oregon weather. I stay dry while walking and hiking.

I love the PreCipice Eco Jacket and have several in different colors. I'm 5'5", 125 pounds and wear a large to fit sweaters underneath. It's slightly tapered, which gives a slenderizing appearance and hits just below the buttocks. My only disappointment/complaint is the white lining/coating starts to disintegrate and flake after a few years, which causes white specks all over my clothing....not pretty....and thus the 4 star rating.

Does what it should. Fits good- a little loose than expected.

After ~5000 backpacking miles it was time to replace my 2019 version of this jacket. My old one started to de-laminate at the neck and arm pit area, but I have been happy with the jacket overall. I hike out west mostly, so not as wet as the northeast.

Bought it as a bday present for my wife. She had another one for 12+ years and lost it. She was glad to get another one just like she had. Great price as well.

This is a great thin rain jacket. It has kept me dry and folds into its own pocket. It also has an adjustable hood to help me be able to see. I wish I bought this sooner.

Survived a downpour in Ravello, Italy! Kept dry. Looks nice. Easy to pack. It has been our family rain jacket of choice for almost twenty years. Love Precip.

This is my second marmot rain jacket and I like that the hood isn't connected to the collar. My last marmot had a slightly more flattering fit and cut, but I didn't know the name of the style. At the end of the day, I'm going for a functional rain jacket that's roomy enough for layering and can pack down into a hiking backpack. I normally wear a size 6 and medium fits well even with broader shoulders. It holds up well in moderate rain, though I haven't had a chance to wear it during downpours.

Lightweight, functional, easy to pack, nice color. I've long needed a jacket like this to use in rainy conditions without the need for extra warmth, hood, lining, etc.

I needed a jacket, QUICK, and this one was perfect - better than the one I left at home. The adjustable cuffs make me happy, the side snaps for added flexibility are incredible AND the zipper with the layer of velcro closure is just what I was looking for. Compacts tight for easy stuff-it-in-my-bag success.
