Coat is so warm and well worth the price. I got one for my husband and son also. They love it!

Great jacket, extremely light weight and warm. We have three of these, I have a 2013 that is still like new after all these years of six months a year use, never felt cold down to minus 30 F. One men’s and one women’s were bought this year. Fraction of a cost of Patagonia of Spyder and every bit as functional, comfort and very durable.

I wore my marmot down coat out after 30 years of winter horseback riding and running. This is the replacement. It has risen to the challenge. I am warm, even in -19 degrees. The quality and details are Marmot worthy. I expect another 30 years.

I bought this jacket to wear on cold backpacking trips this winter and it has held up wonderfully so far! It’s incredibly warm and durable and I will continue to reach for this jacket every time I go backpacking this winter. I also wear it to classes to stay warm and comfortable too!

I do everything in this jacket, snowshoeing, xcountry skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, fishing... you name it. I love it!

Got this coat at the beginning of this season and it has kept me very warm (weather context: average temp in the low 20s, but with plenty of days in the single digits). It is very well made, and perfect size for me.

This looks like a fantastic jacket at a great price but it's very frustrating that the men's version has a 2-way zip but the women's doesn't, which makes it much harder to use as a belay jacket. It seems like it wouldn't take much extra cost or effort to make them both 2-way zip and allow the women's version to be used as a belay jacket just like the men's version. This is a suggestion for Marmot, when they come out with a new version of this style, please add the same features for both women's and men's (and all styles in general).

I bought a Marmot Guides down jacket about 15 years ago, and had to retire it because it was losing feathers due to tiny burns from campfire embers. I loved that jacket. It was so durable, and even with duct tape over the holes I still wear it as my around-the-house jacket. I can tell this won't last as long. The logo was previously embroidered and is now a cheap vinyl that I feel sure will peel in no time. It doesn't feel as stuffed as the old one, even after years of compression. It's okay. I guess that's my rating. It's okay.
