Perfect rain shell, pit zips are awesome for regulating temperature.

This jacket is really well made. It is very stylish, light, but wind resistant. It has zippered pockets to keep items dry and the hood is designed to keep head dry against windy conditions. The multi color allows a person to wear many different outfits. I love this jacket and recommend it highly.

This was my second purchase of this product, first one lasted over 10 years!

Lightweight and Water resistant jacket works well for everyday casual.

I like everything about this jacket. I like the fit, the color, the cut, the pit zips and the way it keeps me dry. I bought a couple extra for my teenagers.

Experienced 3 days of miserable 45 degree rainy weather and was kept dry and warm. Great value for money.
No complaints as usual with Marmot gear i own. It is good, no extra bells and whistles but all the essentials

It's a nice wind-breaker type jacket. For my needs, it works out well. I did think it was going to be more of an insulated jacket, but it grew on me fast.

Marmot's PreCip fabric is softer in hand and more compressible. The Precip jacket is also lighter. It is fully waterproof and breathable and Gore-Tex shells.

So far so good ! Jacket is very comfortable, lightweight, and breathable. So far jacket exceeds my expectations for keeping the wet weather out and at the same time not making me sweat ! Very pleased with this stylish yet practical jacket !

The day this jacket arrived I went golfing and got caught in an absolute downpour for about 45 minutes, the jacket worked perfectly. My top half was completely dry. It is the prefect jacket for those summer rain storms, light enough that you don't overheat.
Disappointed
I bought this for a hiking trip in the Scottish highlands. It was windproof and packed into a pocket nicely but definitely is not waterproof. First day of rain my arms were wet in moderate rain. The second day my shoulders and back were wet, admittedly I was carrying a day pack. It was downhill from there. Even without the pack I kept getting wet.

Just finished a 45+mile trek in Yellowstone backcountry and had purchased this along with Marmot full side zip rainpants. Wanted something that was breathable and had ‘pit-zips’ along with being very lightweight and packable. Did get to use it three times three times while hiking with loaded packs during storms and worked as I had hoped. Since being the first time in using I can’t say as to the durability but the quality seems to be decent. A little noisy but was used right out of the package. Maybe after a wash and some more use it might quiet down.

Great product, takes up little space, but when rain comes it will keep you absolutely dry above the waist. fit is perfect. Can't yet comment on durability yet, but construction and design is fine

I bought this for a general rain jacket. To use on the trails but also around town in the rain or light winds. It's been perfect thus far. The weight is very manageable and it has just enough utility for broad use without too many features. I rated the durability for the month I've used it. I will update at a later date if something worsens.
