The Mammut Tiass wears extremely comfortable, especially due to its stretch and athletic fit. offers a lot of freedom of movement (great for climbing/hiking) is relatively lightweight yet still feels durable. Perfect Pants !

I just got back from Alaska and these were by far the best pants I have ever used while backpacking. They were amazing. They were tough going through brush and trees, the beaded off the water with no issues. They have built in clips on the bottoms to cover your shoes up from collecting water on the tongue of the shoe. The pants at the waist adjusted great and were very comfortable. They are a little bit heavier so I wouldn't want to use these somewhere that is super hot but in the mountains or in rainy conditions they are amazing.

I don’t like the athletic fit. I did not see that in the advertisement. I would like to exchange them for a regular fit or another product.
Have had these for about a year. Use them for moderate weather ice climbing and summer alpine/glacier stuff. Super comfortable, fit is definitely athletic. I am 5'7" 155. I have larger thighs and a small waist so the small with 30 inch inseam fit great, but I don't mind a tighter fit on the legs. Waist was true to size. Not waterproof, but no issue even on warmer ice climbing days with wetness, the water resistance is pretty solid even after a year using tech wash only.
Really like these pants. The build quality is fantastic and they're comfortable and stretchy. They are definitely a technical fit (some might say European fit), meaning you might want to pick something else if you're on the thicker side.

I have been using Mammut products since 8 years and never been happy with other brands like this one. Highly recommended for your new quest. Thanks
I've been using this item the past summer doing a wide range of activities (Hiking, Alpine Climbing, Mountaineering). They have been great! They have been my go-to pant from long, hot approaches to colder days in the bugaboos. They breathe great and have a perfect fit for climbing with just the right amount of stretch. So far, no major signs of wear after 20+ days. The lace bite on the ankle cuff is great, giving it a gaiter-like feel while on scree and summer snow. 10/10

I bought these Mammut pants to use on Mont Blanc and they were just spectacular. Didn’t expect them to be this great. The best soft shell pants on the market for sure. Very wind resistant and the fit is great. It’s a slimmer fit pant but it’s made of stretchy fabric so it’s super comfortable. I would definitely buy the Taiss pants again.
Durable, good fit for average build. Great waste band adjustability.
