Incredible Boots - Lost A Star For Durability
The best-fitting, best-preforming 3 season boot I've owned. These things climb rock, snow and low angle ice extremely well and the fit for me is perfect. I can dial in the lower boot to the tightness I need, which can be different than the tightness of the upper. For times when I'm climbing more technical terrain I can make the boot very snug to get maximum performance. When I don't need the control I can loosen the boot to make it more comfortable. It blows the competition out of the water in comfort and performance. The only problem I've found is durability of the sole. I lost a full lug somewhere along the way while climbing after 1 season of heavy use in the Alps. I'm a guide and put a lot of wear on boots, so probably not an issue for most climbers. I've recommended Aequilibriums (speed and ST/LT) to my clients on the Matterhorn and they've loved them as well.

My Favorite Boot Ever, But They Wear Out Quickly
These are the most comfortable lightweight boots I've ever owned. And I think they look great too. Unfortunately they did not hold up. I've had them for less than a year and the sole is completely worn out. If they were more durable they would be the perfect boot, but for the price I can't justify being a new pair every year.

Boots Have Great Support.
I have bad drop foot from nerve damage so I can't pick my foot up that great. These offer great foot as well as ankle support. I were them for work as a lineman. They are snug on the sides so not to great for wider feet.

Finally A Perfect Fit........!!
After years of trying many mountaineering styles and brands including Nepal Cube's. These are the perfect 4 season boot for my particular foot......Comfortable out of the box after my initial 3 mile summer hike. Still after a few hikes, they continue to impress, protect, support, grip, my body and feet amazingly. The lower height of this boot is finished off perfectly for my ankle and lower leg, comfort-wise....! I tried other brands the same height that could not incorporate a comfortable top like the Aequilibrium.. (huge deal maker/ breaker) All other features on the boot are rugged and smartly placed. This winter will be another test..........Kim

Super Comfy
these are so comfortable right out of the box. They walk like a reg boot not clunky like more aggressive mountaineering boots. Did some mellow hikes to get a feel for some miles in these and they were fine. Havent used them yet in the alpine but I they def are a great 3 season boot from my use so far

Great Boots But Be Aware Of A Design Flaw
Really great boots and I am going to keep them, but as someone wrote in another review I read about these boots was right: they hurt my upper leg, right above the last lacing hook: I got a bruise after first wearing, and I will keep a bandage until that (hopefully) gets soften, as otherwise the boots are amazing. But if you buy it, you'll see: the material making the elastic protection above the last lacing hook is joined to the leather material in a way that hurts your upper soft skin leg. If that won't go away, I will come back and take out the stars.

Solid Boots!
I haven't taken them on any peaks yet but have worn them around in the snow and such. They're comfortable and fit well with my petzl crampons. We'll see how they hold up over time and in more extreme environments, but overall they seem like really solid boots. Can't wait to christen them on some glaciers!

Good Quality Shoe
I ordered grivel semiautomatic 12 point crampons for it. I walked 2 times in them so far and they seem to be very comfortable. I ordered 11 1/2 US even if I am normally 10 1/2 .

Hands Down Best Boot Ever!
I have been doing research on mountaineering/aggressive hiking boots for a couple years. I got nerve damage in my foot from hiking the Appalachian trail a few years ago. Since then, all the lightweight, hiking/backpacking, boots I’ve tried have come up short and don’t offer the support, comfort, or abilities that this boot offers. I crush over everything in these and I feel absolutely no pain. They are aggressive, stable, offer amazing support in the arch and around the ankle. They’re hands down the best boot I’ve ever had!!! Do yourself a favor and buy two pairs. They are that amazing. I can’t thank La Sportiva enough, you guys gave the mountains back to me, and it’s because of these boots. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Great Boots
I usually avoid boots and go with trail runners, but I needed mountaineering boots. These have been great so far. I dont really have experience with other mountaineering boots other than trying them on but these seem way more fluid in their movement and are lighter than the others that I've tried. I have a friend who also has these boots and we both noticed some pain on the lower shin from the top of the boot if they are tied tight, but it seems to be more of a tying it too tight thing rather than a problem with the boots.

Great Boots
You can't really go wrong with these. Definitely my go to for everything except hot summer days w/ long, non-technical miles. For anything involving any technical climbing, they're great, and very comfortable on long approaches despite their stiffness. My only thought for improvement would be the addition of a toe welt on top of the heel welt they already have so they could fit step in crampons.
