Overall Good.

This is the second pair I’ve owned. The first are over 10 years old and I had a hard time deciding to replace them. The new ones so far seem almost as good. I had forgot about the issues with the end of the laces coming off but some shoe goo and hopefully that is taken care of. The insert which is the reason I got these is not real good and I will have to find something better soon. So far the read of the shoe is exactly what I thought they would be.

On Borrowed Time

I've been buying identical Arroyo IIs for probably a decade. The last pair had a defect (which Keen cust. svc. took care of) plus the keepers on both laces have lost their grip and the laces loosen constantly. The new pair seems to have a less comfortable (thinner) insole, and the inner linings (or the threading) are giving my feet blisters. Time will tell if the new pair holds together, and if the keepers keep their grip, and if my feet develop calluses in the right places to avoid future blisters. Keen is no longer a premium brand though, IMO, due to materials problems with these that I never had before.

Nice

The shoes looks nice but for some reason they make your feet smell very strong that my wife can stand them I don’t know what king of material are us in that why I’m giving them 4 stars

Very Pleased!

While I usually wear Newports, this style change has been fantastic! The enclosed heel and stiffer sole make for better hiking while still being completely waterproof. Additionally, these have an insole that I can replace with my orthotics. The style is timeless too!

Awesome

Keen makes some of the best footwear you can buy. I can't recommend their products enough. Although they are more expensive, they are well worth the extra money. I have found that my Keen sandals will last for years. I bought an off brand this summer, and they lasted 4 months. Don't throw your money away on cheap sandals, in the long run they will cost you 10x as much.

Roomy

Probably perfect with socks, but initial wearing on dirt trail, no socks, not quite snug enough, or possibly 1/2 size too big. Will keep, however, and adjust size on next order. Cool, comfy, good support wearing around camp and on easy trails.

Save My Life

I am 73 years old will be 74 this year used to hike fish irrigate in northern New Mexico for years. I had a real bad round of sciatica. My feet were messed up. My hips were messed up. I wore a pair of these out years ago, decided to try a new parent and see what would happ happen I absolutely love them. You guys have always had great products. I've worn lots of them out in my lifetime. Keep it up. Ray Trotter Taos, New Mexico

Great Light Weight All Purpose Shoes

This is my 2nd pair of Arroyos and they are simply my favorite shoes. Light weight and very well made. The sole supports provide a solid feel and firmness for climbing and rough scrambling while at the same time offering real comfort and good looks for almost any activity.

Good For My Feet But

Good for my feet but wish the lace clip held better (long a problem with Arroyo II) and wish that the plastic in the back wouldn’t break down so readily. I buy these because I can use my own footer insert.

Awesome Hybrid Shoe/sandal.

If you are looking for a waterproof rigged shoe, but yet comfortable, for outdoor activity, this is it. I needed a shoe that was something a little more protective than sandals, yet not as restrictive as regular shoes. Found them. Warning. im my opinion, they run about 1/2 a size larger. I’m regularly size 11. So I ended up buying another pair in size 10.5.

Perfect Sandal Shoe Ever

My husband absolutely loves this sandal shoe. It's all he wears around the house and for lounging. It's very comfortable, it's made very well and lasts forever. The quick laces are great too.

Best Supportive Summer Sandal

Being an old guy who needs supportive footwear that lets me stay active, I bought these to replace 10-year old Tevas. I needed closed-toe/heel sandals to launch my sailing dinghy and traipse in the woods with my dog, and these are a great fit. Nearly all of my footwear is Keens, and these do not disappoint.

Heavy

Heavy clunky footwear. Should be good for rough terrain but heavy soled. Runs bigger than other Keens I’ve purchased in the past.

Comfortable

I love these sandals, for everyday and hiking in all types of terrain, 5th pair that I have owned, even where them down to about 30 degrees with heavier socks

Sandal Or Shoe?

Good construction and Keen's typical, expected solid durability. It is a conflicted experience at times where, a little hot for a sandal, but at cooler than a waterproof hiker. Then not waterproof, but has outsole like a hiker, however wouldn't count on them for support when walking adverse terrain. Good fishing sandal in a boat, but if wet, take some time to dry. I don't know, it can be nice during certain occaisons to have "somewhat" cool feet yet are built just about good enough can to walk through the woods.
