Bad Product - Bad Service

I bought my Jetboil at the end of June 2021. Took it on a backpacking trip about two weeks later to use it for the first time. The igniter didn’t work and the gas valve kept backing itself off. I returned from my trip and emailed customer service through their website portal. It’s been over a week and I haven’t even received a response. Guess my gut to go with another brand was right.

Easy And Fast!

I have only done a test run in the house so far. But I couldn’t believe how fast it boiled 1 cup of water! I wish I would have timed it but couldn’t have been more than 30 seconds. Packs up perfectly within the cup, eve the parts for the coffee press. I am excited to use it in the field for coffee and freeze dried meals!!

Overrated. Glad I Bought It.

First, I had some issues with shipping (the fuel got lost in transit, then found after a couple weeks). Support was VERY responsive and provided tracking info and set clear expectations about an issue outside their control. I'm pleased. The description advertises a 1L cookpot. The cookpot is marked with a "2 cup: MAX SAFE FILL" line... so, not 1L. (It totally does boil 1L, but that's an annoying discrepancy). My stove was also super unstable. When the pot's boiling, you know - because it's rocking back and forth while full of boiling water! There's a tiny philips screw inside the plastic shell, just above the flame adjuster. I tweaked that, and now it's steady as a rock. I'm not sure if that's a QC problem or a trail maintenance problem, so I'll be sure to have a multitool on hand for this 5-second fix. Other than that: Fast boil speeds, as advertised, and I adore how everything packs into the pot comfortably and securely (easy packing). Definitely worth the money.

Amazing Cup Of Coffe In Minutes

I was completely impressed by how well this works. It makes my coffee in minutes and I barely leave the tent. Not sure about long term use yet.
