Great materials. I bought hilleberg niak footprint to protect my naik tent. It provides excellent coverage in the wild. I will always use this footprint in next trips.

Yes, Hilleberg tent floors are really tough; I don't use a footprint with this brand for most backpacking trips where I usually have more choice of sites. But my experience bike touring using campgrounds is that well-used/hard-packed campsites can be amazingly abrasive. This footprint is light and attaches easily -- but note that it does NOT cover the vestibule.

It’s a footprint. It’s from Hilleberg. It does what it’s supposed to. Typical quality you’d expect. Doesn’t cover the vestibule, but according to Hilleberg customer service, that is by design because with the scooped out bottom of the rain fly, it can retain water if it covers the vestibule. Or something.

I own three Hilleberg Tents and use a footprint on all my tents. The Footprint provides excellent coverage in the vestibule ... providing additional living space and protection for items stashed in the vestibule
