The Perfect Watch For Me.

This is an amazing watch for everyday use or when out on the trail. The battery life outlasts every watch I have owned. The OLED display is bright and clear and is easy to read day or night. I don't think you can go wrong with this watch.

Suck apple wont share coding to be able to read iMessages but thats out of garmins hands

Great Outdoor Sports Watch

It does way more than I need but it does it all very well with a great battery life. Screen is high resolution so maps and data screens are readable. GPS and heartrate are very accurate. This is my 3rd Garmin watch, I am have not yet been disappointed!!

I love the large watchface while using the map, reading texts and stats. It's very helpful to have the health monitoring and see how various exercises influence my body battery. I did get a little annoyed having my phone linked to the watch and beeping with notification. I'll have to remember to disconnect it before my next hike!

Great Watch

I think the 51mm pro is a great upgrade to the original Epix (47mm IIRC). I probably wouldn't have upgraded if the original came in a 51mm. But the larger size makes things easier to read at a glance. The LED light, which at first thought of as more a gimmick is actually useful. I use it often when around the house when the wife is still sleeping, at the camp site because it's faster than pulling out a flashlight, and numerous other tasks that require a floody low power illumination. I purchased the DLC coated version along with the DLC Ti bracelet and they have both held up great. Both have been extremely scratch resistant despite use in many sports and activities ranging from outdoors, gym, and duty use. The AMOLED display is great and I get @11-14 days between charges with a constant-on setting/Zzz -mode starting at 2200hrs
