I am so incredibly impressed by the workmanship of this jacket. While I usually wear size medium, the medium was tight across the mid section, so I returned it for a large and it is perfect. Extremely comfortable and well made!

Use this jacket on the jobsite and it is actually rain proof. Slimmer cut but fits great for me.

The Cloudshield Rain Jacket is an awesome jacket. It is built with great quality throughout, and the overall feel is very nice. It will definitely be one of my favorites on many days even without rain.Only improvement I'd recommend would be to add additional exterior or interior chest pocket(s) for things like earbuds, keys, etc.

One of the best fitting rain jackets I’ve ever worn. The cut is great, it stretches and feels amazing. Color is great as well. Can’t say more about how great this jacket looks and fits. Unfortunately, quite possibly the worst rain outer I’ve ever used. Impressive how little water this thing repels. I’ve used twr jackets for years and have always been disappointed. I was excited to try a real waterproof membrane based jacket. Wore this jacket in light rain for 2.5 hours and was completely soaking wet. Left it hanging for a day and it was still wet.I would buy this jacket in a heartbeat for the fit and look. But unfortunately can’t recommend for rain.

I like the coat though I don't think the color is well represented by the web site pictures. Wish it had vents but a good coat at a fair price

Great jacket. It runs small my husband is the same size as college and for. However the XL fit perfectly.

As a previous review states the color of this jacket is not as pictured. Ordered heron blue and got what looks like a once was navy that has been heavy sun faded for a couple years. Or an accidentally bleached coal color. The color puck in the add is closer to The product. Not sure if they intended to look like the prototype their model got, and they received this color. Maybe their future batches will actually look like the blue in the picture. I have quite a bit of free fly gear and will continue to support them, but this is pretty disappointing. Free fly offered easy returns and said they are aware of the difference. For what it’s worth I’m sending the jacket back and grabbing the darker color. I’m 5’11 190, lift pretty regular. Large is good for me with just a tshirt under. If you intend to layer for warmth probably think of sizing up.

As expected, another great quality product from Free Fly. I like the fit and the minimalist style. There is some noise to the fabric, but it is very quiet, especially when compared to other rain jackets. I’m a very broad-shouldered guy, so sleeves usually aren’t as long as I'd like them to be. The sleeves are plenty long on this jacket. The fit is great. Unfortunately, the actual color is much more grey than is represented in the pictures. I was anticipating a dark blue. If I’d had time, I would have exchanged it for a different color. I needed it for a last minute trip to the mountains, so I had to roll with it.

I am a fishing guide in Western NC and a reliable rain jacket goes a long way. I have many days where I will be in exposed rain for hours. Not only has the jacket held up, it has been the most comfortable rain jacket I’ve ever owned. Well done free fly!
