Best Pants Ever

Simply put, they are the best pants I’ve ever owned. I now have four pairs and many of my friends have bought them too. They are rugged but comfortable with enough room for movement but don’t get snagged on branches, wire, or other hazards. The left front thigh pocket is the most useful pocket on any pants. I use it all the time. Bought my original pair almost five years ago, wear them almost every day and they’re still going strong. The pants have been backpacking, hiking, chainsawing, dirtbiking, working, truck repairing, lounging, and beer drinking. They are damn near perfect.

Recommend. Versatile And Comfortable.

Very comfortable and durable for various activities in cold conditions. They performed as expected in sea kayaking expeditions in AK, and PNW, wearing them under the drysuit was very comfy, also, for skiing inbound and backcountry touring in North Cascades, and winter expeditions in the Tetons and Absarokas Range. Waxing them worked really well, for mild rain, and heavy cold snowy conditions. Adequate pocket size for map and some of the avy equipment. The elastic strap adjustment on leg endings feature is nice, they fit over skiing boots. They perform excellently in mild cold hikes and some moderate technical mountaineering routes. I've used them a bunch and now I can see some wear and tear, expected though.

Good Enough To Come Back For...

I am now on my 5th pair of Vidda Pros. Now, that is definitely not to say they wear out! I keep 2 pairs in stock, and wear these trousers all day every single day, for work, for walking, and even for evenings out. I wore my first 2 pairs out after 3 years constant use, I had 1 pair fail on the zipper, and am now a year into the ownership of pairs 4 and 5. In the past I never ever would have contemplated spending anything like the eye watering cost of these trousers, BUT, the quality, comfort, durability, and versatility has made me come back again. For HARD wearing, constant use, they actually do deliver the goods... Over time, you'll spend more replacing lesser products.

The Outdoor Gear Review Sent Me - Wow!

I will agree with the other reviews saying the service is excellent! I sent them an email and got a reply 30 minutes later and I had my issue resolved within a hour. These pants are super light and seem very breathable. The pockets are very roomy, but don't seem bulky like cargo shorts.
