Almost Perfect

I was surprised how well these pants fit and how much I liked them (yes, the elastic waist is comfortable). As soon as I put them on, I knew they were the right pants for an upcoming camping trip. The fabric is strong but stretches comfortably. I appreciate Fjallraven is exploring non-green, brown and black colors. Why is this so hard?! I'd buy the same pants in red if they were offered. I have zipped hip vents on my hunting pants, so I knew they'd be a great addition to these too. My only gripes, and they may change after wearing them more: [1] is the lack of back pockets for my wallet or papers. Thankfully, the front cargo pockets are lie-flat minimal type and not what you see on sloppy dad cargo shorts. [2] I don't think the elastic cuffs are necessary. Again, that may change but my first impression is they are a feature that can break easily only a few customers will use.

Fit

Confortable pants and durable. The butt of the pant is very loose, everywhere else fits well. Not as water resistant as expected. Will use wax to see if this improves. Overall still enjoy the pants!

The Stretchable Waistband Is A Game Changer!

Fit is tricky with Fjallraven trousers but the stretchable waistband on this model makes all the difference. This being said, I usually wear 33 with none stretchy fabrics (like G-1000) but the 34 in this case is perfect. Most models usually runs small based on my experience (size-up in doubt).

Brilliant With A Special Caveat.

Excellent pant. Comfortable. Short inseam is actually a short inseam and doesn't change with waist size. Stretch waistband is a game changing especially when paired with a Keb Trekking belt that is also stretchy. Very much squat approved. I don't put mine in the dryer at all and these air dry overnight. Excellent all rounder. Will be buying more. But the caveat regarding the fit: The new and improved mens pants are unbearable for me. With proper waist sizing the new sizing is so tight in the hips, butt and upper thighs they are COMPLETELY unwearable. Can't even sit down in them. Especially the Vidda Pro Ventilated. Some of the old sizing Keb Agiles fit OK but then it struck me.... try the women's sizing! Voila.... problem solved. Fit perfectly. And the zippered openings in legs are mesh covered (which I prefer). Also tried a pair of the Keb Agiles in the new women's sizing and also perfect. So for me the old sizing in mens is OK (if you can find any left). The "new and improved" women's fit is perfect while the "new and improved" mens sizing are, for me, completely unwearable

Adventure Pants

picked up a pair of these for travel to Banff and all i can say is that they are fantastic!! the fit and combination of stretch makes this pant very versatile for me.

I love these pants, but I would like them in different colors.

Buy One And Don’t Worry About Anything Else

One of the best pants out on the market. Great craftsmanship. Love quick access pockets in the front, and nothing falls out of them. Air zippers are just life-changing. Soft to the skin and super durable. It was hit by sharp brunches and sticky brush, slid on the boulders, and nothing happened.

Mostly Perfect

These are great, but the zippered ventilation openings are completely exposed (compared to the Women's version). So easy for debris, bugs, etc. to get in. Not ideal. I don't understand why there is a difference

Very Solid

Finally a waist and thigh stretch situation that makes sense. This is the missing link fjallraven has needed to make their pants fit more actively without being overly baggy. There’s some room for rear end and thighs and I can squat without the waist pulling down. They should integrate this into the vidda pro line to fix the problem where you can’t squat in them. These pants have the right combo of features with the belt loops, vents, and just about everything I like from each pant I’ve owned in the past. Glad to have something like a lighter Keb and a better fitting version of the abisko trekking light trousers. Just need more colors (lighter tan please) and then a restock on the short sizes in green.

I just picked a pair up. The elastic waist band is a game changer. This system needs to be integrated into all their pant lines. Good bye Sitka, Kuiu

Versatility Comfort And Design

If you are a Vidda Pro user and want something that can go for spring summer and fall hikes. This might be it. There is of course no 3rd front pocket(the deep hidden pocket) like you’d find on your standard vidda pro. But, you have the four pockets (2 hip) (2 thigh). For further explanation of the thigh pockets. The thigh pockets have a zip pocket and button pocket. Your hip pockets are your standard hip pockets. The ventilation is great and the flexibility is very there. Squat approved. I almost returned these prior to these getting to me because I already own 2 vidda pros. But once I put these on I cancelled that return. Really worth the price, really comfortable, extremely versatile. I can’t recommend these enough. Perfect for the spring summer and autumn season can also daily these more comfortably than a Vidda Pro.
