After less than a year of very mild and occasional use the belt broke off on one side. I own hip bags that are 10 times cheaper and already lasted 10 times longer than this one. Since it's my first thing from Fjallraven I'm very negatively surprised by the utter lack of quality in an item as simple as a hip pack.

I’ve had my kånken hip pack for roughly 4 years now, and I use it almost every day! There are still no signs of wear and tear on it, and it still has a lot of life left. It easily fits sunglasses, keys, and my wallet in the main compartment. My phone also fits in there, but it’s a tighter squeeze! I highly recommend this bag, and am considering getting another in a different color (I currently own Graphite). I also get lots of compliments on it!

Just got one more Fjallraven gadget for my collection and I must say the ULTRAMARINE blue is even more beautiful when you watch it directly. It brings me Greek islands memories. It's spacious and the elastic band in the back is a good idea to avoid having the strip hanging. The only negative point is the same I have with all the Kanken line. The washing instructions are very poor. And light colors look dirty very easily. When trying to remove stains you have the riske to remove colour even if using a sponge. Also I would like to recover initial texture and waterproof and find no directions. Is your Was useful for this purpose?

This pack is lovely but it is very small. It is advertised as having a 2 L capacity. In actuality, it is smaller than the lululemon everywhere belt bag which has a 1 L capacity. I’m not sure how these measurements can be so off, but it is definitely a very small pack. I would give it five stars for quality, but three stars for product description.

I bought this crossbody last March, and I use it every single day! It has traveled across the country and abroad with me, and has held up perfectly! It holds the small Kanken wallet, phone, keys, snacks, chapstick, purell, AirTag, and still has some room to spare. I love it so much!!!

I bought this for my 24 year old daughter for her birthday. She keeps telling me how much she loves it. She can fit a phone, wallet, chapstick, hand sanitizer, ,etc. She says it is perfect for her needs. For reference, she is very petite, and the size of the bag fits her well.

I bought this 2 years ago for a diaper bag & hip seat I didn’t have to lug around for quick outings. It fits 2 diapers with wipes, phone, a few snacks, and all the essential cards - much more function than anticipated. I have been using it consistently as an assisted carry/hip seat for a toddler and a baby and the buckle has never popped off. The yellow ochre colour has dirtied a bit but comes clean if it starts to bother me. Very happy with the purchase

I’ve owned this pack for about a year and I love it. It’s the perfect size to carry what I need everyday, and easily expands to be a crossbody bag, which is how I wear it. I’m back to buy it in another color.

I’ve loved all Fjallraven products that I’ve purchased in the past and this kanken hip pack is no exception. It fits everything I need including my kobo! I love the fabric and the colour, so much so that I want to get another in a different colour!. I highly recommend this bag for every day use

Was hesitant about this bag especially considering the price, but i’ve been using it practically daily for over a year. Absolutely amazing for daily wear and travel, shocking how much you can fit in. Couldn’t recommend it more!!

This is my go to bag for the gym. I put my phone, wallet, airpods and car keys and it works with the added back and front pockets. I carry the bag across my shoulder and it's nice cause I don't have to get a locker to put my valuables in. Love this little bag.

I recently took this pack on a three week trip throughout Ecuador, from the beach, to the mountains, to the city. It kept my everyday carry items organized and safe. The zippers are great for my use, not too noisy. No, it's not waterproof, but the pack also zips up nicely underneath a raincoat. My phone only fits in the main compartment, but having the front pouch, the back pouch, and the internal flap help keep things neatly divided and safely sperate. The top handle is also a great anchor for temporarily hooking other items with a carabiner to stay hands free. I also have the Ulvo med Hip Pack for more rigorous activities when needed as it is more geared for adventure activites.
