Thea socks are amazing. They are ridiculously warm, super comfortable, and very low profile (for an expedition level sock). If you need extra warm hiking socks, look no further!

I bought these to replace similar socks from another brand that lasted me nearly 10 years. The fit is perfect with slight compression that keeps my feet and legs feeling great. Great, extra thick sole. Looking forward to putting miles and years on these socks!

I bought these to wear with Muck boots and IceBuds (studded ice/ snow shoes). These are great socks and don't wear out. Comfortable and Lon on comfort and warmth. I will buy more of these now that I have checked these out in Anchorage on the costal trails.

In the past I have worn another brand of socks. About 2 months ago, I tried another style of Darn Tough socks and now am convinced Darn Tough are better. I am 6'6" and were a size 14 shoe. These Darn Tough socks in size XL still go up past my calves up to the base of my knee cap. Which is exactly what I wanted. The cushioning is noticeable too. Highly recommended if this is what you are looking for.

These are great socks. I own several pairs of the standard size (mid-calf) socks. These are ideal for wearing when you have to wear Muck boots on rainy or snow melt days.

Brand new boots needed brand new socks that stay up all day and keep their cushion. This pair performed perfectly. Bought 2 other brands with similar qualities and Darn Tough edged the others in comparison.

Bought these guys for climb of Mt. Rainier recently. Couldn't be happier. Stayed in place on my feet, highly absorbent, and very stable on ascent and descent.

Very attractive design and colors adds the finishing touch to an overall well made hiking sock! I purchased the socks because I wanted a real neutral color hiking pair of socks, which I believe look the most fitting for the style of hiking boots I own. The thing about these socks is not only are the versatile in style when worn casually, they offer a unique layer of support and comfort when hiking or trekking through the great outdoors. I put them on a little skeptical at first because I ordered an xl and wear a size 11 in my hiking boot thinking there might be an inconsistency in sizing, but was relieved to find that the socks seemed to fit properly and offered a surprisingly superior level of comfort. Within about a two week period, I have already worn the socks twice casually with my hiking shorts and can’t wait to get them up and trekking on the trails near my home. I definitely plan on purchasing more Darn Tough mountaineering socks in the future to accommodate my needs and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an overall well made sock!

These socks have been great for everyday wear. I love the quality and thickness. They don't stretch throughout the day becoming loose. Great for the hunt as well day to day. Couldn't be happier. I'll definitely be getting another pair.

Darn Tough are the best socks around. I thought I'd buy a few pair. Instead, I ended up replacing all my socks with Darn Tough! All I wear!
