Still Breaking In But Loving Them
I love the style of this boot, and the black is definitely a more dark green/charcoal but I actually prefer it. I got these about a month ago and have been wearing them lightly. The top edge is a bit stiff but is already starting to break in. I think if I wore them straight away on a long hike it would be a bit uncomfortable so I'm taking my time with them. I can see these will be boots for life, but will just take a bit of breaking in. I love how these can be my heavy duty hiking boots but I could also run out in errands and pair with other outfits pretty easily. I got a size 10, I run 9.5-10 and this fits well with a hiking sock. Happy with my purchase overall, especially for an investment shoe!

Really Comfortable And Gorgeous
I bought these because I love Danners and wanted a pair of boots to be able to wear on an upcoming trip to Ireland. They are very comfortable and the wine color is beautiful. I’ve been able to wear them to casual Fridays at work and am sure they will work great on vacation. I wanted to avoid packing hiking boots and other shoes and wanted something that would look a little more dressy. Like my other Danners, I’ve needed to wear a few times to get the boot cuff area to loosen on my right calf.

I Think I'm Getting Ripped Off
Bought these on November 28 and got them quick enough. My wife tried them on and they were digging into her calves so we sent them back. Got a confirmation that they received them and after a few weeks my wife called asking when the money would be returned. They said it can take up to 12 weeks to get your money back. It's february 15 and still no refund. Also shipped and returned to Dicks sporting goods even though we bought them here. Will not be shopping here again. Merry Christmas! $250 for nothing!

Great Boot, Just Too Narrow
These were so cute and would go with everything. Extremely well made, like all Danner boots. You can remove the insole to put in your own custom ones. I just have really difficult feet post surgeries and unfortunately these were too narrow in the toebox, and it didn’t correct going up a size.

Love The Look, But Not Convinced On Practicality
Great boot, super high quality. I have another pair of tall sneakers that are fabric/goretex, and I felt a little hesitant to bring these into my wardrobe knowing I'd have to maintain the leather--especially with the white/casual bottom. That said - Keep doing stuff like this, Danner! But maybe consider materials that are more eco friendly and/or lower maintenance

Buying boots online without trying them on first is always tough, so I was a bit skeptical initially about how comfortable these boots would be. I wanted an attractive boot that could be used as a work boot (for woodworking) as well as for outdoor activities, and something that was versatile that I could wear casually. I was pleasantly surprised after I wore them around my house and noticed how comfortable they are and how quickly they broke in. Though they were a bit hard to get on at first and fit very snug on the first try-on, at the end of the day the initial stiffness of the boots softened up and they are a perfect fit. By far the most comfortable boots I own. Great for hiking in all weather conditions, and also good all around work boots.
