I’m happy with the durability and build quality of the shoe. Toe strap is very uncomfortable and borderline unusable, I ended up just not using it. Straps can be uncomfortable and after walking for too long I notice straps dig into the top of my feet. Back adjustable strap is too long and drags in the ground.

I usually fit size 9 or 10 men's shoe, but the 9 was too big for me. It's very heavy sole and uncomfortable to sit with by foot sideways on the floor or cross-legged because of the hard side buckle. It is hard to get the fit consistently correct because the straps always change. I may have injured myself using these.

Most uncomfortable thing I ever put on my foot. Felt like wearing a brick, but worse. I really cant put it into words. Was worse then I could have imagined in every aspect.

These seem to be almost 1cm shorter than my last pair. Same size, same style.

The scndles are great, but the website said I should size down, so I did did not see the option in the half size so I went to the 8. I think it would have been better to stick to my size. I feel like my feet go from edge to edge. Overall I like them just think they look a little small.

I am a true half size, particularly with these sandals. They indicated to size down if you're a half size, but my toes go right to the front and I'm concerned about underwater toe stubs when rafting this summer. I should have sized up, not down. These are now used, so I'm stuck with them, but something to keep in mind for others in the same half-size boat.

I am a father of 4, all under 10 years old. These shoes help me do all of the activities with my kids, wear them hiking, these are the most versatile product i own. I’m thinking about buying a matching pair for my whole family they are so great.

Love the Z/2! I’ve been wearing these since high school, so going on somewhere around 25 years now… the extra toe loop I personally feel gives me a bit more grip and stability when tromping around outdoors, and hence I frequently where these when hiking and even occasionally backpacking. They’re super comfortable whether on the trail, in the water, or after a long day in my boots. The black is also classy enough for casual wear! Can’t beat ‘em, and I don’t intend to ever stop buying them.

I bought these to replace my old z cloud 2 sandals and unfortunately the quality is not the same. The web straps are not as supple and the tension required to adjust the strap is so minimal that the strap adjustment changes every time I wear them necessitating readjustment after every wear.

Bought these for a 18 mile trek, got 4 miles in and the soles came off both sandals, left me with bare footbeds with the straps exposed which were destroyed frayed and useless after the hike. WILL NEVER BUY CHACOS AGAIN!!!!! the company has cut the quality out of their original product to the point that you cant even get a single outing out of the sandals anymore. PS out of the 3 people that came all were wearing chacos and out of those 3 all had the sole start to or completely come off of their sandals

I have been wearing Chacos since the 90's. I would prefer not to wear any thing else on my feet. I have noticed a decline in the quality and longevity over the years. I still love them but they are not what they used to be.

The previous pair of Chaco Z Cloud sandals that I owned had thicker and softer straps. It appears that the company is trying to shave some cost at the expense of quality. The harder, thinner straps dig into my skin more than the previous model. Alison, I don’t understand why the end of strap goes down to the pavement when you pull the strap through the buckle. I had to have the straps shortened on my previous pair of sandals.

the right inside angle strap rubs in a painful way - rubbing my skin raw. My older pair of Z/2's do not do that

Great sandals. Wish there would be a choice of strap length to accommodate “low volume” feet. The sandals fit nicely, but approximately 1.5 inches of the strap drags on the ground.
