Great For Cold Mornings Walking Dog

Always said I could pick up more men in this town wearing Carhartt than a fancy dress ?? but that is not the reason I purchased this hat. 90 degrees or 20 degrees my dog insists on a morning walk. CC beanies were my go-to but the air was going right through. This hat has a tighter knit, nice and snug, keeps my head warm to the extent of almost sweating depending on the amount of exertion. Great for those extra cold mornings with the negative windchills. I don't wear for fashion so cannot comment on the overheating in a non active atmosphere. Also like it all the way pulled down and not with the extra sticking up but that's personal preference, could be why it's so warm. Did feel tight like it was squeezing my head and sliding up the first couple times wearing but has loosened. Overall positive winter purchase.
