Item seemed to be constructed to last. Instructions were easy to follow. Only issue was that my suv did not come with a front crossbar to strap the front to. I had to return it.

Took the bag on an eight hour trip ran into one thunderstorm. you can fit a ton of space in it lots of capacity, however, there are some wetness inside the bag.

Bought this and developed wear holes on bottom right away, probably decent for the low cost but not a long term travel solution…

The built in straps are not even as strong as the buckles on my kid's backpack. They are definitely not strong enough to hold all our camping gear on top of a car at full speed on the highway. We put a tent, sleeping pads and bedding into this cargo bag and it got us to the first stop of our camping trip. The next day, we loaded it back onto the car and we were traveling on a two lane highway. A rig came in the other direction, and as it blew past us, the whole thing popped right off and blew into the gutter. The whole webbing system tore completely away from the cargo bag. Luckily, the zipper remained intact, so our things didn't get scattered. But there were holes in the cargo bag and damage to the tent inside. Definitely made our trip more miserable.

Purchased for light usage on my roof rack. It did its job without any issues, yet I have not tried it under wet conditions. It held well against the sun in the desert. The adjustments on the tie-downs can get annoying, but after practice, they become easier. Good bag for the price.

I purchased this for a cross country move. After two days of driving, we opened up the carrier to find the inner lining shredded. Thankfully the two days of rain didn’t get in the carrier. Sad to realize this is a one time use. Would not recommend if you are hoping to use for more than one trip.

Loved it --- great purchase! Recommend it highly -- easy to attach to roof.

Made it all the way to Florida from PA with no problems. The one zipper kept coming open but that was the only downfall.

We bought this as a last minute purchase to help with getting all our stuff into/onto one vehicle for a 12-hour college move-in drive. It was great!

I bought this as a last minute replacement to transport my son to college. It was easy to attach and load and kept everything safe and dry.

Moving my daughter out of her college apartment was a challenge with accumulation of lots of memories. With my SUV packed I needed more storage to bring her belongings home, and the CargoLoc did the trick. Thanks to Dick's for having everything I need.

It worked well and strapped in fine. Was a chore doing all eight straps.

after strapping this cargo carrier to the roof for the first use ...one of the clips broke. they are made of cheap plastic.

Traveled across country with it and it kept everything we packed perfectly in tact.
