Perfect For Mtb
My dad got me this for mountain biking and it has worked out perfectly! I love using it out on the trails. I also like to hike and trail run so it works for that too!

Not For Technical Mountain Biking
Overall high quality build typical of Camelbak products, however the lack of a torso strap makes this a bad choice if you are a mountain biker riding technical terrain with steep rollers, jumps, log hops, etc. . . Without the lower strap to hold it down it's going to ride up and hit you in the back of the head anytime you ride down a steep rock or bunny hop a big log. I'm going to see if I can retro fit something to address the problem and make it more useable. It would be fine for road or gravel riding though.

Uncomfortable
I bought this pack because I usually ride with MULEs and I wanted a lighter pack. Unfortunately, the straps are too short and dont fit my shoulders. As a result, the straps bunch and create sores on my pectoral muscle, near my armpit. In addition, the pack sits too high up on my back because of the short straps. Because I used the pack several times, I was told that I cannot return it for an exchange or refund.

I Was Looking For A
I was looking for a lightweight hyrdation pack to use while cycling. This rig meets all of my requirements except for one...the process of getting rid of the plastic smell and taste of a new unit. Seems like Camelback could develop a consumer product or provide specific guidance on how to resolve this issue. I found several YouTube videos offering advice but none have worked completely yet. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the product.

I've Been Purchasing Camelbak Packs
I've been purchasing Camelbak packs going on 16 years and now have at least one designated to each activity I do; running, MTB, Cycling, Hiking, and working outside. I would say I still love the fit and durability of each different style I have (the one I use for working outside is the first Rogue I purchased in 2008), and I'm really happy Camelbak finally upgraded the bite valve design, but the added magnetic clip placement still needs a more permanent home to affix to on the shoulder strap or chest strap, or something. When the only place to affix it to is somewhere along the adjustable side of the chest strap it's just never in a constant place to mindlessly clip it back in. Otherwise, I'm still a loyal and satisfied user.

Works Well. A Bit Difficult
Works well. A bit difficult to get full water bladder in to it's pocket, could use a slightly larger opening for this. Very comfortable on back while riding. Overall, a very nice product.
