Was hopeful that these would be a return to the roomier toe box. I was wrong. They are tight in the toe more so than other brands I have looked into recently. I kept waiting for these to be released believing the hints of a return to the Ghost 16 roomy toe area. Unfortunately, these are being returned.

The ghost 17 was bad, was hoping this was better. It isn't. Why does brooks dislike wide/2e feet??? Why is arch support suddenly hard to find??? Bring back ghost 14&15!!!!! And more colors for wide/2e we deserve fun colors if we are buying your shoes!!!!!!!

I preordered the ghost 18, hoping it would be more like the ghost 16 as the 17 was a disappointment. The 18 had something rubbing in the inner side of the left shoe. The arch didn’t feel as supportive as previous models. Color was good but I returned the shoes. Please bring back the 16 model as the toe box and support were great

For years I wore ASICS. However, my feet slightly grew and aaics no longer felt right. I love my brooks. I love the bounce. I love the lack of fatigue. I wish I would have switched sooner.

I’ve ordered the ghost several times over the years, this is the first pair I haven’t been happy with. They fit larger than prior iteration and I prefer my old pair. Sad to say going back.

I am very pleased w/new Ghost 18! Ordered peach/gray/purple vs. the darker orange offered. I luv this lighter blended color. Took photo showing how well the new slimmer tongue looks w/ Brooks socks—more comfortable, too. With the softer cushion in sole, I barely feel my high arch supports. I’m borderline Med/Wide. Ghost 17 Med fit tight in toe box, & Wide fit too loose. The Ghost 18 Med must be slightly wider in toe, as fits perfectly & not too tight. Overall, the Ghost 18 is my favorite Ghost right out of the box!

The original look and feel of the Ghost is back! I’ve been waiting since the 15 for this and past models since the 15 have not felt true to the Ghost fit. I can say with confidence that my foot feels “locked and loaded” in this shoe and the fit is like a glove. I love the new trim of the toe box. I mainly use this shoe for treadmill running and some cross training. It is so durable and stylish. I can’t wait for many miles in my new Ghost!

Love the ghost 18. These have a roomy toe box and cushioning is very comfortable. The flat knit tongue design was a great addition to this shoe. I have been wearing ghosts for many years. These were not a disappointment. I highly recommend the ghost 18 for a pleasant trail walking experience.

The beloved Ghost shoe is back! Wow! Great arch support and amazing cushion that hugs your feet in all the right places. Comfort in every step, right out of the box. The perfect length, width, and a great new tongue. They are plush yet supportive. The Ghost 17's were stiff, narrow, long, and not as much cushion. They felt cheap and nothing like the Ghost shoe that I have loved for years. Can't wait for more colors to come out in the Ghost 18. This will be the one that people buy several in different colors. Bravo Brooks! My feet thank you! : )

So much better.With a sock like tongue, a wider toe box(B width), the Ghost 18 are a massive improvement on the 17.Straight out of the box wearable, for a 5 km run, no issues, no rubbing. They do feel a bit heavier than previous models however. I love the colour, almost a fluoro peach with purple accents, and I know these will get dirty over Winter, at least they will help me be seen in the dark!!

I boldly took this shoe out for my first outdoor long run (11.5 miles on Ohio), knowing the predecessors have always performed well. I was a little nervous with the new tongue design but I was pleasantly surprised at how soft and comfortable it was. I have relatively flat feet and this shoe felt great through the arches. I didn't feel like my foot was falling off the side of the sole which I've had problems with in other shoes. These have been a staple in my marathon training rotation and I love the new color ways.

Brooks never disappoint! Even after being on my feet all day, they were so incredibly comfortable. The flat-knit tongue felt like a pair of socks and was so breathable that my feet did not get hot. The sneakers felt so supportive, like a brand new pair of socks. The cushioning of the sneaker was soft and my feet felt great, even after a very long road run. My favorite thing about this sneaker is that it’s not only stylish, but it feels like you’re not wearing anything. This newly designed tongue of the sneaker is absolutely fantastic! It does not dig into the top of my foot. Overall, Brooks have always been my go to brand and this sneaker definitely does not disappoint!

The Ghost 18 is my new go to for running in the Phoenix heat! These shoes are so breathable I can feel airflow even after a few miles when it’s hot out. The cushioning is soft and absorbent which takes the edge off of pavement impact. My favorite feature is just how easy these are so slide on and off, all while being secured to my feet for the duration of my run. I’m seriously impressed.
