Awesome Shoes For Hurting Feet

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable. My feet never hurts.

Hype 3

Very comfortable, like pillows on your feet. My only complaint is that they are a bit heavier than I would like.

A Good Shoe That Changed With To Much Added Foam

I had the original Hyperion tempo and that was a good lightweight shoe low foam shoe. The Hyperion changed and no one asked Brooks to mess with a good thing but they did. Stop adding more foam to everything it makes running worse not better. The Hyperion 3 added more foam and it feels too sponging now instead of feeling your foot on the ground. Sadly this was a great shoe, its a choice still because the otjer models have far more and way too much foam.

Shorter Than I Expected

Cool looking shoe with a weird ankle collar feature that feels strange slipping your foot in but snugs nicely once it is on. The toe box width is more spacious than the Hyperion 3 Max, but for some reason the length is shorter; my toes were pressed right up to the edge unlike any of my other similar size (13) Brooks shoes. Therefore I never even took them for a run.

Odd Feel

I’m not sure I love the fit/feel of these shoes so I returned them for a different pair.

Great Shoes, Runs A Tad Too Small For My Wide Feet

I love the Hyperion lineup. These are my second pair of the 3s. I had to go up half a size as they are narrower at the toes than the predecessor (which I also used to run in). The Hyperion's light weight and decent construction make it a perfect choice for me for long runs. I do hope Brooks decides to go back to the more roomy Hyperion 2 concept.

I was reluctant to try these but I needed something new to replace my all time favorite Hyperion Tempos. So far these have been great to absorb the impact and lessen my knee pain.

Tight Top Box Prevents Perfection

The Hyperion 3 was an exceptional shoe until about 10 miles into my run when the toe box became incredibly uncomfortable. This particular shoe line doesn’t offer a wide or extra-wide option, unlike my previous Ghost model line of Brooks shoes, which I’ve never needed. I ultimately decided to return the shoes.

Excellent Shoes

Great pair of shoes!!! I have two pairs of Brooks Hyperion Tempo. I love that they’re comfortable but, not too soft. I normally wear a 9.5 Men’s shoe but you should definitely size up!!!! I ordered a size 10 Men’s and they fit perfect.

Great Blend Of Responsive Performance And Protective Cushioning

After running in Launch since its first iteration, I’ve been wanting to find a shoe that balances the responsiveness I’m accustomed to with a bit more comfort for higher mileage runs. The Hyperion 3 has been a surprise standout. It’s light and snappy, yet provides enough cushion to keep my feet comfy and legs feeling pretty neutral even after double digit mile efforts. The shoe is stable - doesn’t roll or pitch. The sole has good grip, the midsole feels adequately cushioned under foot (a bit more than my current Launch 11s) but I still get good ground feedback. The upper is soft and comfortable. The collar and heel counter feel more robust and secure than the Launch. The shoe stays in place on my foot well, laces stay tied. It’s rare to find a shoe that checks all the boxes and feels this agile without being overly firm—a sweet spot for me, as a 50-something year-old runner who wants to maintain a high-cadence gait while protecting myself from long-run fatigue. If I had any complaint, it might be that the toe box feels a bit restrictive - but I didn’t really notice this until after a 13.5 mile run in super humid conditions. Overall, I love this shoe and will buy more! I also hope there are no drastic changes for the next model!

Awesome Shoe For Oldies

I’m a super senior and these shoes are so comfortable and the cushioning perfect for my daily 5 mile walk/jog on a concrete bike path.
