The Glycerin Max 2 Lost Its Ultra Cushion Feel. Now Just Feels Like Another Running Shoe

Really disappointing. The Glycerin series is known for their cushion and I have owned 4 different Glycerin series over the last few years and loved all of them. The Glycerin Max is my all time favorite running shoe and I was excited to run in the Glycerin Max 2. Unfortunately, the Glycerin Max 2 is firm like all the other shoes and no longer comfortable for recovery runs or long easy runs. The Glycerin Max 2 lost its unique cushion feel and not worth the money, really disappointing! I am currently looking at other brands to fill that void of an ultra cushioned running shoe.

Manufacturing Fault

I have a big problem with the left foot. It's like im walking on the inside of my ankle. Bought one before this and one after this is the only one I'm this problem with...looks like something went during manufacturing. Please let me know if something can be done about it.

Fantastic Long Run Shoe

I enjoy it a lot for longer runs, 8 miles and up. The max cushion is very helpful for my joints and it absorbs the shock of each stride well.

Very Stylish And Comfortable Head Turning Shoe

I purchased the Brooks Glycerin Max 2 in the Moonlight/Chameleon colourway and I found these even more comfortable than my Glycerin 23s. Once again, design is immaculate and the colour changing paint turns heads. Stack height is a bit bigger than the Glycerin 23s which explains the more cushioned, plush feeling. Support is still good and while good for a run I prefer it for walking as it is a bit heavier than the Glycerin 23s and in my opinion slightly less responsive. But the comfort of this shoe is amazing and if you need to stand for long periods during the day or do a lot of walking then this is a fantastic shoe. Toe box is also a bit roomier than the Glycerin 23. Traction is good and comparable to the Glycerin 23. I would highly recommend Hkycerin Max 2 if you are looking for a wonderfully comfortable, cushioned shoe if you need to be on your feet all day.
